I open the launcher and I get this:

There was a problem moving C:Program FilesEverQuestIIIp_tempEverQuest2.exe_delta_11120_ 448.patched to C:Program FilesEverQuestIIEverQuest2.exe. Please make sure the game is not running.

It cycles through every 5 seconds in attempt to update but does not work. I've rebooted my system but not sure what else to try.

Thank you in advance.

Please download and install our latest LaunchPad for Everquest II available at the link below. I recommend the full download version. Select Install a new copy during the setup process and direct it to your existing EQII game folder, C:Program FilesEverQuestII, which will avoid having to re-download any game files you already have.

[EQII] LaunchPad

I tried that and got "Installing into this directory will convert the installation to use a new launcher. Proceed?" so I hit YES.

Then I got "Due to your account settings, this installer is unable to write to C:Program FilesEverQuest II. Please select another installation path".
