Heroes' Festival 2011 bugs and feedback

<p>Heroes' Festival has been activated on Test and Test Copy!The Heroes' Festival has begun! A call has gone out to all Norrathian adventurers to commemorate the years of questing, raiding, tradeskilling, house decorating and socializing. Celebrators, happy to share in the festivities, can be found in North and South Qeynos or West and North Freeport. You may spot some odd things, due to the overlap of both the Nights of the Dead and Heros' Festival running at the same time, right now.  But keep in mind that this will not be the case when it goes live.  Currently, the event is scheduled to run on live servers, 11/18/11 through 11/28/11.Returning features:Collection quest: "Samples of Destiny". (Quest is not repeatable)"Festive Flames in …" quests in Freeport and Qeynos. (Quest is repeatable every 2 hours )"Thumore's Absence" (Quest is not repeatable)"Shattered Remains" (Quest is repeatable, once per event)"Missing Decorations in …" quests in Freeport and Qeynos. (Quest is repeatable every 2 hours, max 10 times.)“… Band Aid” quests in Freeport and Qeynos. (Quest is Not repeatable)“Aggressive Advertising in …” quests in Freeport and Qeynos. (Quest is repeatable every 2 hours, max 10 times.)Players are sent an in-game mail to announce the event. <p>I forget, is this the event that rewarded the Qeynos Claymore and Soulfire replicas that are wall mountable?</p>

<p>I saw no issues at all while testing.</p><p>I'm not 100% certain the feather shows up above the sleeping Thumore in North Freeport though. I had done the quest last year, so the repeatable was by clicking Thumore and sleeping with him. I saw a feather above the sleeping body in North Qeynos but there wasn't any in Freeport BUT at the time I was lagging badly and usually feathers and books do show up way late when it does that.</p><p>No new memories for SF but it was as expected.</p>

<p>Since there are no new quests or rewards and you are all so busy, would you consider bring back the 9 paintings from the first Heros Festival? (2009 Forum Challenge runner-up Paintings)</p><p>I dont know how hard it is to reactivate those but alot of people did miss out on those paintings, it would be 'like new' rewards. Whatdaya say?</p>

<p>last year we had "2010 fan-made" paintings for sale on hero merchants, now this year? nothing desireable.</p><p>can we get those "2009" paintings all back? PLEASE? since many are no longer repeatable quests unless we playing alts.</p><p>this sound like a serious major cutbacks since massive SOE laid-offs and we not seeing anything new.</p>

<p>They certainly have enough time every week to put new things up for sale for station cash... they could have at least put a few new rewards into the event.</p>
