First, ask yourself if you will benefit from the - small - survivability added by Benefaction (iow do you die to AoE while most of your group stay alive)

If you answer "yes" then ask your usual groupmates if they use Winds and/or Dain's runes (these rune become less useful the more ppl have them in a group) and swap accordingly. For ex. if 4 ppl have Dain's but only two have Winds, change Dain's for Benefaction.

Ragnaphore said it pretty well, Winds of the Tundra, Dain's Legacy 2 in group will provide decent coverage, 3 can give 100%, any of these runes beyond 3 can probably be more efficiently replaced with something else.

Grater Stout is garbage I would replace it with benefaction in a heartbeat. One thing you can consider is that when you get an upgrade you can put what war rune you want on it and replace the one on your old piece that way you have an alternate set that can be used in special situations or you can alternate between the 2 from week to week and compare raidwide DPS. One way might boost your DPS by 2-3K while the other you lose that 2-3K but RW DPS goes up 10K when using one that procs a group buff.

Listen, here's the thing that most people don't understand.

Gear is transitory. What gear you have is not necessarily the gear you will need. I absolutely do not rely on one set of gear to do everything for me.

For instance, for most fights, I have a belt with Dain's Legacy on it. This is my go to belt, and what anyone who inspects me will almost certainly think is "my belt". Not so.

You see, I also have a lesser belt with Subterranean Will on it. Do I need SW often? No, not often at all. However, when I need power, SW serves me well. So I have a belt, in my bags, with this Rune. Yes, I give up DL and that hurts, both me and my group. However, power is effectiveness for a caster, and if I find myself low / oop during fights I might as well not be there at all. Thus, I have this belt and I know which fights are going to require it.

This is no different than Benefaction, in fact, Benefaction has some power properties to it. Seek out an easily duplicated item with a War Rune slot and put Benefaction on your weakest item, then bag it. You'll have it when you need it, and you'll be able to use something more meaningful to your role in the times you don't need it.

So few new raiders understand the power of duplicate / bagged items. This is something I am actually a little upset that we lost - things like resist gear, power gear, etc. Upcoming raiders don't understand the value of this and don't know when to use it and how to use it. They simply think "Oh, I've got something better now, I'm muting my old piece." It's tragic, really.
