Hi Wurm, contact support via the Everquest2.com site or call them and ask accounts to fix it for you. Worked like a dream for me.

Okay, enough. This is Wurm's daughter here. Since it is one single household I see no reason why we should spend double the money so that both of us have SC on our accounts. Having him gift me the items I like is more convenient and it saves us some cash in the long run, as he stocked up during Double SC. But considering that is not possible due to gifting being broken for us, he came to the forums to ask what's going on. So please refrain from insulting him, yohann koldheart. Now, I sincerely hope a solution to the gifting problem can be found before the sale ends and the price for the Incandescent goes up again.

Please make sure you are opening support tickets if you believe you should be able to gift but are unable to. We can look in to why you might not be able to or what error is preventing you from gifting and fix it for you.

It took me a 10 minute phone call to fix the problem. The lady at support was very helpful and the problem was fixed within minutes. I'm not even in the USA and it was well worth it.

Don't speak to the tech support guys, speak to account support, because that seems to be where the problem lies.

To those who are constantly badgering people who have this problem about selling SC items:

Although it is not against the ToS, not everybody who wants to gift an item to someone else is selling SC items for plat. Try not to be offensive in your judgement of people who have a problem, no matter what the reason is for their wanting to gift the item. Some of us really like giving to our loved ones and logging into their account and buying the item for them is not quite the same as them receiving a gift through the mail. There's a vast difference between the effect of checking mail and finding a surprise and having to be told to equip your new mount or place your new item. There is a sense of fun and anticipation for the giver too, when they have to wait for the other person to discover the item.

I am not saying you cannot have an opinion, but remember that an opinion is all it is and it can very well be wrong. IMO it's best to keep it to yourself if it may be construed as judgemental and avoid having hurt someone else's feelings for no reason whatsoever.
