Is there still a lot of latency and packet loss if you hardwire to the router or bypass it directly to the modem? Non-wireless.

I just disabled the wireless function on my box and ran the game. Not a single problem all good, so i thought may be that was it. So i turned wireless back on, again no problems. 5 minutes later, high ping. Switched wireless off again, still high latency. Not sure why the on/off behaviour.

I will be online and see how long it happens for.
