I can't see the intro movie in-game. Has never been able to since I started playing on two different computers.I remember it worked a long time ago when the Echoies of Faydwer demo of the game went live, but these days all I get is a black frame with the sounds from the movies.Any clue why this is? Could it be that the intro doesn't have support for 1920 x 1080 or something like that, or is it using old technology not compatible with today's computers?Anyone else have this issue with the intro movie?

Did you uninstall any video software? Without the proper codecs installed (Quicktime, etc...) videos can't play that require those codecs. Google K-lite codec pack, download the basic pack, and you have most of what you need to play any video.

I have K-lite installed on both computers since previously, and I haven't uninstalled any video codecs or similiar.Besides, I can still hear the sound as mentioned above so I am not sure what the problem is.

But did you uninstall any video player programs? The codecs are removed when you uninstall the program (QT for example).Did you uninstall RAD tools?

When I double click eq2.bik in the EverQuest II folder it runs fine for me.

I didn't remove any players as far as I can remember, then I would have done it on both of my computers and that seems weird.I cannot open the file you mentioned either. Only way I can see the intro is if I look it up on YouTube.
