Good and bad.

Good, very good, for people like me who keep messy bags and the only way to find anything is to bring up the character screen and mouse over each bag to find, via reading alphabetically for, the item I'm looking for.

Bad, for people like me who multi box and where only one character collects all shinies and distributes at a later time.

I don't see the patch notes where it was introduced - maybe there is an on/off function? That would be my feedback - an opt in or out for the auto collectibles tab.

Last night when I played - a solo character - when I looted a shiny the collection screen would automatically come up and give me an option of which collection to put it in. Including at the broker window.

But... it may be that I very very very (probably could add a couple more very's in there) seldom play a solo character that its been in effect for a while.

Looking over my partner's shoulder now - he's two boxing - he's not getting that so maybe its just me - living in the past!

That's been in there forever, but recently it seems to be turning itself on or off on it's own.

Journal - > Collections -> Open On Loot (checkbox)

Well, as they say - learn something new every day!

Mod: probably should move this to a more appropriate forum - new players maybe! Apologies.

I sell spares. I dont do the cracked bones, etc bracelet collections.

If I get a cracked ratonga fragment, and close the quest window without adding it to the collection, the next time I loot a cracked ratonga fragment it will not pop the collection window open for it again.
