Since Friday Oct-7th, the stereo 3d feature in EQ II stopped working entirely. Introduced in LUA 55 - "EverQuest II now proudly supports nVidia’s 3D Vision technology", it was one of the main reasons I kept my subs, and was ejoyable up untill early this summer when problems started popping up making it worse with each subsequent update. A ticket to tech support resulted in "we don't have hadware to test the game in stereo 3d mode", so no joy... Surprisingly, most top MMOs nowadays work nearly flawless with nVidia 3d vision tech, with or without official support from game devs. Oh, well. I am going to miss these skeletons jumping at me from the screen

I use latest drivers and DirectX, just in case this gets some attention...

Can you post your DXDIAG info for me? Just the top 3 sections, system/display/sound devices.

Actually, I reinstalled video drivers downgrading from beta to latest whql nVidia, and stereo 3d is back, at least in shader 3 mode . So not all is lost yet . I wonder though if any game engine upgrades will be rolled out in the near future - the game stutters even without additional s3d load....

It would seem so. Something in the latest EQ2 update conflicts with 285.27 beta driver and kills s3d. I had beta drivers for a couple of weeks and the issue popped up only this weekend. Reverting back to 280.26 whql drivers restored the playability in shader 3 mode, but the game is still weird in s3d with shaders 3 off.
