Launcher stalling

<p>Hello,</p><p>Ive been having a problem recently where when I use launchpad to patch it downloads at a very slow rate(1kb/sec or so) then stalls around 50kb. The program is still responsive, it just downloads really slow then stalls. Ive read a few of the other posts in this forum and it seems some of the advice given is download the latest launchpad. Does this require uninstalling all of eq2 then redownload the full 15ish gigs of info?</p><p>Also, Im pretty n00b with the ins and outs of win7 and I tried to run the two diagnostics using the directions in the sticky but it seems like the steps dont apply to win7.</p><p>Thanks in advance for any help you can give!</p>

<p>It was simply my wireless connection. Im at school away from home playing from a different location staying at my g-parents in their RV which is in a sheet metal shelter (sounds rediculous for picking up a wireless signal, I know). I have a powerful Ubiquity wireless antennae, and my connection is decent altho less then ideal. I run msn video chat, download, run 4 simultaneos instances of Eq2 without issue, but for some reason Launchpad didnt like the signal quality. I repositioned my tower and antennae and got better signal quality and the launcher stopped stalling out.</p><p>In short, the launchpad was being picky about my wireless signal quality. When I improved it, it stopped stalling out and updated for me.</p><p>EDIT: Joshua -  If possible I would update the sticky for running the diagnostics with the info thats in the link of your sig. Some peeps like me are very easily confused <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
