Is there a setting to zoom out but keep your character close toward you (bottom of the screen)?

<p>I just got the blessing of xegony on my arasai and now I am twice smaller.  In order see the same amount of screen view, I need to zoom out more.  That's okay except it moves my character toward the center of the screen.   Is there a way I could pull the character back closer but keep the same zoom?   I tried setting max camera distance but all it did was limiting how far I could zoom, but not adjusting the relative position of my character on the screen.</p>

One thing I never cared for when I switched from Everquest to Everquest 2: The first game had about 6 different camera angles, including one that is exactly what you'd be asking for. Sadly, this game only has first and 3rd person views, and the 3rd person view is fixated on your character regardless of where you move the camera.
