<p>On Keven's Trial the light blue quest waypoint puts the entrance to the hidden vale, in the middle of the zone. However the clickable boulder that is the entrance is on the southern wall of the commonlands a little west of center.</p>

<p>Ah you beat me to making a feedback thread on this. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" /></p><p>Evil version:</p><p>1. Clicking on the portal to enter the Gathering of the Harbingers is difficult, you have to click way at the bottom of it.</p><p>2. In the Gathering of the Harbingers you get the quest "<strong>Vuxz's</strong> Trial" from the NPC "Elder Patriarch <strong>Vuzx</strong>". The two spell his name differently--is it supposed to be spelled "Vuxz" or "Vuzx"? I'm guessing "Vuzx" since the quest summary/steps spell it that way, so the quest name is likely wrong. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>3. The subquests are categorized as "Miscellaneous"--is this correct? I'd imagine they should be "World Event".</p><p>4. Bordag's Trial - The quest summary says to search for the cave within The Commonlands but the quest step says that it's in Antonica. (the boulder to clickie is in Commonlands though so this is simply a typo)</p><p>5. Gardunk's Trial - Can barely see the particle effect on the shattered pieces of moon. Also I find it hard to believe that after this long people would not have seen those huge shattered pieces of moon. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" /></p><p>6. Poren's Trial - After defeating the goblins it tells me to return to "Field Priest Keven".</p><p>7. Bordag's Trial - Can you make the Scar Bear worth AA please? <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>8. Keven's Trial - The ROI marker takes me to wasp hill (33.78, -46.95, 2.44), I see no glade here! edit: finally found it thanks to ChrisMarchant, it's behind Captain Gaer.</p><p>9. Keven's Trial - Cosmetic but the tents are floating above the ground. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" /></p><p>10. Vuzx's Trial - After getting the berries the step to return to him, his name is typoed again as "Vuxz". (green cloud berries also did nothing to me when clicked on, just said they were withered and poofed)</p><p>11. Porens Trial - Just realized that the return to yadda yada step also doesn't tell you to return to him in the Spirtual Pocket like the other subquests.</p><p>12. After you get the update to return to Olgen, if you hail Elder Animist Sahdi again he goes through his entire dialogue as if you were just returning to him.</p><p>13. <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">Codex pages 3, 4, 5, 8 - Beastlords are mentioned a few times but not capitalized.</span> Well fine then! <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" /></p><p>14. Codex page 3: Last line doesn't quite make sense. I think you mean "known AS the..." and prehaps add a comma after Khati Sha.</p><p>15. First page of the Codex is really long compared to the others and looks odd. Not a biggie, just stands out. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>16.  I wasn't on 100% AA xp gain but I only see AA xp messages in my log from turning in the subquests. The log reflects getting adventure and AA xp for the main quest.</p> <p>(will edit as I work on this!)</p>

<p>wolf den in Cl, the clickable rock is behind Captain Gaer of the Lightbringer HQ. So loc an be got from there.</p><p>Not easy to find, had to search the south wall to find it.</p><p>Yes the shards are big and green, easy to find once you've seen the first one, lol.</p>

<p>By the way, you turn in the token at end of part one, and he says he'll let you know, there's no link between part 1 and part 2, perhaps an in game mail telling you to speak to the part 2 guy.</p><p>We need something to tell us to speak to the guy in Freeport/Qeynos giving us the part 2 quest, at the moment there's only a feather, and that doesn't scream part 2 here in any way.</p>

<p>I ran the goodie version from Qeynos. Generally fun stuff with a good story, please don't be too disheartened by my list, you probably won't agree with me on all of it anyway. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>0) It would really help if you improved the text for the patch notes before this goes live, to say which zone in Qeynos and Freeport. Not everyone can remember if it's north, south, etc.</p><p>1) Dialogue on Meli Valorfrost before you get the quest, the 3rd dialogue set, the option to decline says "we should would follow".</p><p>2) Dialogue on Meli Valorfrost when you accept the quest says "Very well, then. I will ..." Doesn't read quite right, should it be one sentence or remove the comma?</p><p>3) In the dialogue on Meli Valrofrost she says "spirit realm", but the quest description says "spirit realms" (plural).</p><p>4) The mouseover/clicky area on the Antonica portal is right at the bottom of the blue swirling graphic. If you aim for the centre of it, there's nothing to click on.</p><p>5) Quest says talk to the eldest of the harbingers, and the NPC is labelled Elder Truespirit, whilst the others are Harbinger of something. I guess they're the same thing?</p><p>6) Don't know if it's intended, but on entering the gathering of the harbingers instance, the Elder Truespirit has both book and feather icons over his head at the same time. But he only continues this quest not gives a new one.</p><p>7) Sahdi says they are the harbingers of the third awakening. Then says there have been three awakenings (past tense), so has the third one happened or not yet? Gardunk says the awakening is coming, so this one has not happened yet? This seems inconsistent in Sahdi's text.</p><p>8.) Typo in 2nd quest step (in journal), the text says "I must speak with the other Truespirit Habingers".</p><p>9) Keven's Trial quest description says "thin out the number of the deer" - think it should be "a number of".</p><p>10) Declining the quest from Vuzx, then Gardunk and Poren, they do not give you the dialogue again or let you get the quest. Until you speak to the last of them (finishing the step in the main quest), and then the feathers come back on the ones you missed. Going back to Gardunk and Poren at this point they give you dialogue as if you're on the quest already and returning before finishing it, but clicking through still gives you the quests.</p><p>11) Dialogue on Vuzx says the berries wither and fall to the ground. I took this to mean the bad ones would be on the ground. Then the quest text says "withered on the vine", implies they're still on the vine when bad?</p><p>12) Dialogue on Poren and the quest description for Poren's Trial just says "off shore", but not off which shore. Minor point since Antonica is mentioned in the quest step once you have the quest. It also feels like he's implying you're still in Antonica, but you're supposed to be off in the spirit realm somewhere?</p><p>13) The 5 sub quests are categorised as Miscellaneous, shouldn't they be under world events with the main quest?</p><p>14) A description on the medallion items would be nice, to say what they're for.</p><p>15) For Keven's Trial, the update doesn't always happen smoothly, even when you've got yourself, wolf and deer right next to each other. Possibly because I was aggroing multiple deer and bringing them to slaughter on top of the pups. By moving around a bit it seemed to update after awhile.</p><p>16) After feeding the pups, they're still called "starving wolf pup". Can they be renamed when they've updated to "happily fed wolf pup"? (What happens if you try to feed the same pup twice, I'm assuming you can't but didn't think to test this).</p><p>17) Scar Bear - I one-shotted it without even trying. I'm a level 90 fury with decent (but not uber) gear. That really wasn't a challenge. I know you have to scale these mobs for events so our lowbie characters can do it, but please try to make it fun for the level 90 characters too? Same with the aqua goblins as well.</p><p>18.) I do like the use of a boat for a zoning object instead of just more rocks, it's more original. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>19) If you aggro and drag the aqua goblins, when they leash they despawn! I was trying to drag one group to kill on top of another group as it's so easy at level 90. And because they despawn you then don't have enough goblin groups to get the updates for the quest. (But zoning out and back in will respawn them.)</p><p>20) 3rd quest step on Poren's Trial says to return to Field Priest Keven - should say Poren.</p><p>21) The 5 quest steps for The Word of the Harbingers, 4 say "medallion" but Vuzx's step has it capitalised as "Medallion" which stands out as different.</p><p>22) Vuzx's Trial - in the quest name it's spelt Vuxz. Also misspelt in the 2nd quest step when it says to return to him.</p><p>23) In Enchanted Lands, the first few bushes I saw were glowing green. So ok I thought that looked bad, but I couldn't see anything else to click on. From the dialogue on Vuzx I was assuming I'd find bushes with good and bad berries to distinguish, instead it's actually good and bad bushes. Could this be made clearer, in both the dialogue and the quest description? I.e. to find bushes with sweet berries, not bushes with withered berries.</p><p>24) After the dialogue about withered berries being poisonous, I was a bit disappointed that clicking the wrong bushes don't kill you. I know it's an evil idea, but... <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" /> Alternatively a sickly debuff might be cool.</p><p>25) Turning in quest to Poren, you say you drove off the goblins. Personally I feel it was more like "annihilated the goblins" since I didn't see any left, but that's just my take on it.</p><p>26) Not sure about this one... dialogue on Poren when handing in quest says "important to not just them, but to all". We were discussing it and no clear conclusion, but "important not just to them" might read better for some people. Up to you.</p><p>27) You don't actually get the medallion items in your inventory, but they're set up as items (can ctrl-click to examine them) and they are shown as the rewards you get on the quests.</p><p>28.) The dialogue handing in the quest to Vuzx says "the beastlord can never hope to reach his potential". Well sorry, but there will be female beastlords too, so it should be "their potential" or something. (To be fair, it's gender neutral everywhere else in the questline that I've seen, just this one slip up.)</p><p>29) Returning to Sahdi he then has both book and feather icons again for turning in the quest.</p><p>30) Dialogue on Sahdi (handing in medallions) says "pass our message" - should be "pass along" or "pass on" or something?</p><p>31) If you rehail Sahdi after the update, you get a complete repeat of the dialogue asking if you've completed the tasks and handing in the tokens again. Usually you'd get a single new dialogue step here instead? Just telling you to take the codex to Meli.</p><p>32) Typo on Meli handing in the quest: "I will to all" should be "do all".</p><p>33) Any chance of finding a cooler looking book object? (Or getting the artists to make more in future?) Only there are lots of books in my house's library all with the same appearance and visually it's a little disappointing to see the same cubic block again. (Even if the book's content is good!) No artwork for books with animal heads on them anywhere ingame you can steal?</p><p>34) Reading the book, I'm just not sure, are the spirit guides the same thing as the spirit animals? Otherwise I do like the Codex's content.</p><p>35) Typo on page 7 of the book, the name is given twice: The Great Wolf - Kaldrahir, the Peak Leader Kaldrahir</p><p>36) Typo on page 11 of the book: "The Den Mother is known as for making sure"</p>

Okay, tried this first on a level 45 on the Qeynos side. 1. The initial quest directions are a bit vague - Antonica is a very large zone to search for a single portal! Bear in mind that the map area markers don't work for all of the people all of the time and some of us prefer text directions anyway. And can the additional details be included in both the NPC dialogue and the summary that goes in the journal? 2. Scar bear and pup quests both give detailed directions in the NPC dialogue but this is not stored in the journal entries. If you leave the quests to finish on another day you'll be clueless where to start. 3. On those same 2 quests the directions talk about the 'road to western Antonica' . When you're at the portal point there are actually 2 of these, one north and one south of where you're standing. Might want to clarify there. (Yes, ok, I did check the wrong one first <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) 4. Codex page 6: 'had chose to retreat' should be 'chosen'? 5. Starving pups were a little odd. Getting the update when you led them to food was a bit iffy. I finally concluded that the pup needed to walk over the deer to trigger the update. Any chance we can get the trigger point on a wider radius there? I was also confused by the number of pups. They seemed to poof as I got the updates but after I'd done 4 I seemed to have 4 left. After I'd done 5 I still seemed to have 4 left and they are all still labelled 'starving'. Are they respawning at this point? And why do we have extra? I felt bad not being able to get all of them to food <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>Ran the evil version today, after patch with fixes.</p><p>1) Why when you zone into the Gathering of the Harbingers zone, are you so far behind the portal? Given you're supposed to have come through the portal, wouldn't you be facing the Harbingers with the portal behind you?</p><p>2) Love the extra dialogue on Sahdi. But one bit seems odd, he says "The bonding between mortals and the Truespirit will begin again". But the mortals are bonded to animal spirits, no? And the Truespirit oversee the bonding, not get bonded themselves?</p><p>3) Scar bear is about right for a level 20 necro, not too fast or too slow to kill. Aqua goblins are too.</p><p>4) Poren's Trial - doesn't say the dock is "in Commonlands". Whereas the good version at least mentions Antonica in the quest step. Could potentially be confusing.</p><p>5) The aqua goblins still despawn if you leash them, but you have to run a long, long way to leash them now. Don't think anyone will do it purely by accident now.</p><p>6) Keven's Trial - having the wolf pups despawn works much better now.</p><p>7) Getting to the bushes as a level 20 toon is quite doable, if you don't run into the level 33 aggro wasps over to the west. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" /></p><p>8.) I deliberately took one trial quest (Bordag's), ran it, handed it in. Then took the other 4 and did them. When I handed in the last trial quest, I found I didn't have the medallion for Bordag's trial. My character is now stuck because she doesn't have that update on the main quest.</p><p>9) "The Word of the Harbingers - Freeport" quest has same typo as Qeynos version. One of the 5 quest update steps, for Vuzx, has Medallion capitalised whereas the other 4 are lower case.</p><p>10) The Codex book appearance has changed but it's not one of the Frostfell ones we talked about using.</p>

Ran the Freeport side using a level 52 brigand. 1. Commonlands is also a very large area to search for one small portal if your map markers don't work - text hints please? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> 2. The directions for Keven and Bordag's quests are still not retained in the journal entries. 3. I'm seeing some patched changes but no fixes to the codex text. This leaves these still incorrect: page 3: 'became to be known' -> 'became known'? page 6: 'and had chose to' -> 'chosen'? page 11: 'known as for' -> remove the 'as'? 4. And I found a new one! On page 10 we have 'U'lla' in the heading and 'Ulla' in the text. Pick one? <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> 5. On the last 5 pages of the codex could I suggest adding a blank line between those headings and the text to make the headers stand out better? Some of them do seem to run on into the text a bit. 6. And I'm a bit confused on the lore. On page 3 of the codex it says, ' which led to the creation of the beastlord path' suggesting that this was the first Awakening. Then on page 4 it says, 'Beastlords had again returned to Norrath' suggesting that they'd been there once before and this is the second Awakening? Thinking it through I'm reaching the following conclusion: First Awakening happened on Luclin when they first got there. Second Awakening happened on Norrath when the adventurers arrived and took the knowledge back. Yes or no? If yes, the text doesn't make this particularly clear and the mention of returning to Norrath is incorrect. <p>Re-ran evil version, after the 2nd patch. Just a couple more thoughts:</p> <p>1) Possible issue for very low level toons. The Commonlands rock for Keven's Trial is immediately behind the spawn point for an aggro Heroic level 17 boss, Captain Gaer and his two side-kicks. Twice now I've exited the instance to find them standing immediately infront of my level 20 necro. I can skirt around them, though the first time I just ran forward without thinking, ran into them then continued running away.</p><p>2) Once you've done the 5 quests and have 5 medallions you get the quest update on the main quest. Then you can delete the medallions, you don't actually have to have them when you talk to Sahdi. Even though your dialogue says "I brought their tokens", and Sahdi then inspects them, I didn't have them on me. And once you've gone past this update in the main quest, the 5 Harbingers won't talk to you again so you couldn't get them back. It all works, but if you did delete them, the dialogue doesn't quite make sense. Minor point though.</p><p>Has anyone checked if the medallions get removed from inventory when you finish talking to Sahdi? (If you hadn't deleted them.)</p>

<p>I have already asked for a link between part 1 and part 2.</p><p>There are 2 new npcs, the one in Freeport stands the other side of the sign from the part 1 hand in, the one in Qeynos is just outside the temple, both had feathers for me, the feather only appear on them after the part 1 final hand in.</p>

This morning I died in the goblin instance and didn't get a revive window. I had to quit out to character select to get out, which had me revive outside West Freeport gates so I had to run back again. I *think* the instance you copied from is one that makes you revive outside, could this be the cause of the problem?

<p>Major bug just found. My fae templar, level 24 just died in Poren's Trial, the aqua goblin one. But she hasn't been offered revive, she's still curled up in the fae ball. I checked her health, it reads as 100% -48/-48 !!!!!!!!!!! and 2% power. If she's unconscious she's been that way long enough to do a /bug report, and still on -48/-48</p><p>In two minds about leaving her there for you to check, or camping there. I have had other chars die in there, just one or 2 and they revived successfully, so is it just a fae problem? Her name is Berrylight, on test server.</p>
