Hopefully not before it's working as intended. Please don't push for new features to be released before they are ready.

Depends on whose definition you go by. If updates were steak, SOE likes theirs saignant or bleu.

With the bugs they have fixed and the bugs they know of and the addons they want to add they should have a rough estimate by now. All im asking.

Many on these forums like to jump to conclusions and pretend they know whats going on.

An intellectual person allows their opinions to be swayed by the past and therefore make assumptions on the future? lol. Since when is it smart to assume?

It's just another way of saying "Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it" or whatever version of that you wish to adhere to.

In short, we have 7+ years of history upon which to base our estimations of what the future will hold. Those seven years have been filled with ann overwhelming list of features, content and changes that have been pushed out before they are really ready, and most of us have come to expect the same from future content.

Dungeon Finder will be no different. SOE feels the pressure to get it done, but history tells us that they will push it out buggy and incomplete. They've already said it won't be cross server - making it completely useless in my opinion. We are already able to form groups without it. I've already reserved the right to say "I told you so" when this thing crashes and burns.

Why bother!? Thats just unbelievable Guess a useful cross server tool simply cost too much dev time and will net too little money compared to filling the sc market with awesome fluff. /suggestion put a cross server dungeon finder on sc market and label it fluff. Im desperate!

Preachin' to the choir man. I offered that feedback immediately when I heard DF wasn't going to be cross server. My concerns were dismissed.

There are players that want full group action between 1 to 80, and for that a cross server tool is needed. Yea its easy for sj to side with ppl who are fobic to strangers, it costs less money. Does it costs much to at least bump group exp? They could offer the rest of the disappointed players something itsy bitsy while the shy ppls get their huge boons, grats to you

and salty SJ says if/when: they arent saying it will be cross server either. that makes some of us worried and disappointed. is the namecalling necessary? illiterates ftw!

Are you new here?

The jaded responses you are receiving here are a direct result of the many, many years of development failing to connect with the player base.

It's kinda like when two people who speak different languages try to have a conversation. Each stands there speaking their own language, trying to get their point across, but in the end each walks away and says "I have no clue what that idiot was trying to say".

Generally, you get the situation where the players ask for a glass of water and the developers give them a tea bag, but no water! Just a complete disconnect. It's silly.

I apologize for derailing this early on. That really was not my intention. I was not at all trying to say that your question wasn't worth asking, but I've seen enough threads like this turn into a 'when, when, when, hurry up, when is it coming, release this already, when, when' that I wanted to jump in and ask that people don't push for it before it's ready. I wasn't saying that you were pushing them to release it in whatever state it's currently in.

Ruut Li wrote:

every little detail? You claim they promised something that they certainly have not. lol

I never said they promised. I clearly said "LOOKED AT" which to me is the same as saying "if/when". At no point did I state "YES IT WILL BE CROSS SERVER THEY SAID SO". Jesus man lol.

Ty for the apology btw not really needed though I can understand peoples frustration.

Am i new here? No lol. I have a 5yr vet reward and played EQ1 when Luclin released so am I the oldest one here? no. However I have dealt with SoE a good while and from my personal experience hopping around a ton of gaming companies what they do isn't as bad as people make it out to be in comparison lol. I offer you to go deal with Blizzard or Funcom and come back lol.
