Even though PvP is declining like the rest of Eq2, PvP is a big part of this game, reading your posts i see why PvP has fallen because childish complaints come from all these bluebies who want to control PvP aswell. Don't worry it usual only last a week, then you can get back to the 10 people who actual do PvE on test. Grow up please, thanks.

PvPers, ourselves, are the reason PvP has fallen: the choice to use the new mount types to avoid it, the choice of many to exploit in combat evac tactic, the choice to gripe so much on forums that Sony totally separated pvp and pve gear, the choice to gripe until Sony began rewarding griefing, etc etc.

The comment immediately prior to your grow up comment causes the grow up comment to be directed at yourself, as well.

PvP is part of the game. It has been since the early days and I expect it will remain part of the game. It is a declining part of the game, but it is still large enough for SOE to support good PvP content for those who want it.

I don't do PvP and I forbid my guild to do it as well except for Arena matches between members. That's a personal choice. I expect others to respect that choice just as I respect their choices.

I never play on TestCopy for the simple reason that it is too often set to PvP. Playing there would mean being forced to deal with a PvP environment when I don't want to, and I will not tolerate that ever. If SOE really wants more people tp bring copies of live characters there to test content, they need to establish separate PvP and PvE versions.

I discussed the matter with existing members before implementing the policy. My original aim was to forbid all PvP, but they made a good point that Arena bouts between members are not the same as dueling in the streets. I agreed with that and made that change. I also accepted that Battlegrounds matches worked the same way in that the PvP took place in an instance unconnected to the regular PvE world. So the policy was implemented with unanimous consent, and all candidates for membership receive a clear explanation right up front.

Words don't mean what they used to all the time trying to take it back like that is foolish. Liberals in American politics want more goverment restrictions on things than the other end which by your definition would not make them "Free". I'm not saying liberal views in the US are completely right or wrong since I'm more of a moderate myself, with a slightly left leaning. I'm against forbidding people from doing something that can't cause direct harm to themselves or others, and PvP in a game does neither. Ron Paul 2012

been on test copy all day... just 1 other person on, and yesterday had it to myself most of the day.
