I try to be patient, and even defend decisions for the SOE design and development teams. It's getting very tiresome, and I'm running out of 'positive spins'.

The 'fluid' nature of gear, progression and effort-reward has made me feel like I /ran stats for my gear once or twice per week. Most recently, it's with breastplates that MANY have worked hard to get. Some even hoarded every plat for buy them from people who were better geared. Now, they are left with disappointment.

I know marketing typically causes the rest of the supply chain great trauma, but they DO know one rule that needs to be followed. NEVER devalue something you've put into the hands of a customer. If you made a mistake, change it for future customers, but NEVER EVER devalue something someone has already won/earned. It's the certain way to increase dissatisfaction toward you AND your products.

I've met several of you and even had a good chin wag with SJ @ FF '10, but I am a bit disappointed lately. I think the content looks great, and some of the encounters are outstanding. The constant changes made in an attempt to balance from both ends (change mobs AND gear AND AA's...without holding variables constant) isn't showing the intelligence I believe you have. The disregard for items earned by your players is worse. Those items hold real value for players, yet they are modified and tweaked at will. Increases are tolerated and even loved....decreases are akin to theft.

How does sony like giving away their content for free due to credit card fraud? Doesn't feel good putting in the effort...and earning a sale only to have much of the net benefit reduced through charge backs. Now, be a player for a moment.

It's a shame...and I'm disappointed. I expect better from you guys.
