Updater error

<p>While scanning, my updater appears to begin to download an update and then crashes midway through. In order, it says: preparing, locating remote manifest, and then begins to download a small update. When the update would normally finished, I am presented with this updater error:</p><p>There was a problem moving C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_tempSequenceSound.dll_delta_10961_11.patched to C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IISequenceSound.dll. Please make sure the game is not running.</p><p>Any suggestions? I'm guessing maybe it has something to do with the small update today and I should just wait a bit until later and try again.</p><p>Thanks!</p>

<p>I do recommend moving your Everquest II folder out of the ProgramData folder, perhaps simply C:Everquest II</p><p>Now, once you have done so, please update to our latest LaunchPad for Everquest II.  Select the full download version and direct it to install a new copy over your existing EQII game folder.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>

<p>Cool, thanks! Trying all of those steps now. Sony may want to update the EQ2 page so that it provides a link to the launch pad you provided a link to. If you go to everquest2.com the only launcher you can find is for the streaming version. I'll let you know what happens with your advice!</p>
