Hi all,

I realize this is probably a pretty large question, but I am looking for a good progression list from one dungeon to another that has big bosses at the end of the dungeon, preferably some instanced encounter similar to Tserilith from fallen gate.

I noticed now a few dungeons do not have this, and I am really interested in ensuring that my group has a big finale to look forward to at the end of each dungeon. black burrow, wailing caverns, and many smaller zones like B?mist gully, all did not have bosses and we would have rather just skipped them.

If anyone has the time to let me know what dungeons are like fallen gate, that would be much appreciated, thank you =)

Have you checked out EQ2i's progression list? One moment ...

http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Dungeon_Timeline

Above is a Dungeon Timeline broken down by levels. See if anything there you like.

Yeah I know about that dungeon list, but that does not tell me which dungeons have an instanced big boss encounter similar to Tserilith in fallen gate.

I was looking for a shorter list of which dungeons are like that.

Well "big end encounter" is subjective really. But let me see *puts on glasses*

Try Nektropos Castle. It will keep you all busy for a time.

Pretty much any dungeon that is instanced is going to have a 'big boss' in the zone.

Some open dungeons do not have any particular guarenteed big boss in a seperate instance at the bottom but most do have some sort of "boss" type creature. For instance, down at the bottom of Stormhold there's the Corpse Hunter guy who spawns and you get an achievement for killing him. In Blackburrow there's the spider queen. Trick is those mobs aren't always up, since the dungeon isn't an instance.

There are some that do of course though. Fallen Gate as you've found, Runnyeye has one, Cazic Thule has an instance inside as well as a dragon that spawns in there sometimes. There's a couple of instances off of the Permafrost dungeon as well as Solusek's Eye. Sebilis & Chardok have dungeon instances available inside the open dungeons. Karnor's has a sort of boss mob. I'm certain there are more that I just can't think off off the top of my head.

I recommend the Obelisk of Lost Souls. It spent about a week and a half in there (mostly because of book quests). There are several Boss-like nameds and also a quest to access the Vestibule which ends in a very fun Ring Event that spawns a boss. As well as a lot of really good loot. I looted dozens of Master spells during my occupancy and completed 3 L&L quests.

The whole thing started in Feerrott with one of the NPCs there that lead me on a very fun quest. Can't think of which NPC or the name of it off the top of my hear though

Try Ruins of Varsoon, off Thundering Steppes. It has a small instance zone, Chamber of Immortality, with a ring event and a boss.

Off of the top of my head:

Wailing Caves (sort of, there is an access restricted area with a x2 named)*Fallen GateRuins of VarsoonRunny Eye (actualy 2 instances in this one)Cazic ThulePermafrost (King's Chamber)

Honestly, I think those are all there are. Crushbone Keep has an entire instance in the back of it, not really the same thing as the 'boss instance'

Other contested dungeons have a ring event or special bosses that can be up but are not instanced they are:

Cazic Thule - Venekor x4 *Permafrost - Vox x4, Debunked x3?, and the angel thing x2 *Sanctum of Scaleborn - X2 dragon at the end unlocked by ring event (if ring event is up) *

*Note - All of these could have been nerfed into oblivion and changed to common heroic mobs that are always up. The've been hiting old content with the easy mode hammer for quite some time, what is actually left out there as a challenge is hard for me to say.
