Hello Testers!

Dungeon Finder is going to test today and we need your feedback!

I am opening this thread for bug reports and feedback but please keep in mind a few things:

/feedback and /bug are a much better way for you to send us bug reports and feedback; even if you post in this thread you should also report your issue in game.

Please be as detailed as possible with your bug reports. The better and faster we can reproduce your issue the faster we can fix it.

Placing Bugs under /bug and Feedback under /feedback means your report has a much better chance of getting looked at or resolved.

Here are a list of known issues:

(Medium) You may occasionally see a chat message saying " has left the group". (It should be showing a player name.)

(Immediate) The DF may occasionally swap you to a new group immediately after zoning to another group. This is rare in our experience, but a bad issue and is being worked on currently.

(Medium) Groups can occasionally get stuck in a Reinforce state. The result of this is that every time someone leaves the group, the DF automatically extends an invitation to a new player without being asked to do so.

(Medium) If you are part of a DF group, and you leave the dungeon, and then click on the door to re-enter the dungeon, you are correctly zoned to the correct dungeon instance, but DF becomes confused and thinks you're not with a DF group, allowing you to access the DF options. To avoid this, just use the RETURN button when returning to your group and this issue will not occur.

(High) There is a state we are attempting to find now that sticks a player in a state where they are unable to find new DF matches. This is uncommon but very high priority for the dev team.

(High) You get told that "you are not a member of the group" when requesting Reinforcements (even though you're currently the leader of that group). Disbanding the group and regrouping (manually, or by exiting and requeuing in DF) are the current workarounds.

(Medium) You may receive a DF invite, then zone to the dungeon instance, and see all the players arrive that should be in your group, but not actually be invited to the group. If this occurs, just have someone invite you normally and you can keep playing correctly.

(Medium) We have not yet added the functionality, but soon, when a Reinforcement is added, they will warp directly to the group leader's location (instead of to the front door as they do currently).

(Medium) The "Reinforce" button should be a toggle state, changing to "Reinforcing..." while the system looks for new recruits. This will also prevent spam-clicking the button, as well as giving good feedback that the system is looking for players for you.

Thanks!

If I have >110% crit mit and queue up, then take gear off so crit mit drops below 110%, I'm still queued for the Kael dungeons... maybe? The level number greys out but the dungeon name is still green, though it does move to the bottom of the list. What crit mit you can achieve? Because I can see it now... I'm queued up, and whilst waiting I want to craft a bit, or go harvesting. So I want to switch into my craft or harvesting gear with nice bonuses... but then I don't have the current crit mit for the dungeons I want to queue for! So you're forcing people to stay in their adventuring gear whilst queuing, and stopping them doing crafting or harvesting efficiency whilst waiting.

The dungeon finder should include the daily token quest and group mission token quest and any appropriate zone token quest.

In other words i should be able to choose an option for my teirs DAILY shard mission. Be offered the quest and setup the group to run it. The normal zone shard quests should be auto given when you ZONE IN or the quest giver should be right inside the Zone in.

For older content like sentinals fate mark daily mission or group missions you should be able to also choose mark zons instead.

Ideally there should be a token merhcant and a set of token gear for EACH tier at least starting at level 50.

Several of us queued on Test Copy (80-90) and nothing yet. Sounds like Test is having the same issue.

Okaaay, gonna move over my initial findings from the now locked thread:

1) First point of confusion: do you really mean a button ON the xp bar? Because I have the default UI and there ain't no button. There is a new menu item for it, under the EQ2 button, if that's what you meant?

EDIT: Ok doh, this is because I have the xp bar minimised. If you maximise it, the button is there.

2) Queuing at level 90, I'm offered both old SF zones and new DoV zones. Ok I can work out which are which, though tbh my knowledge/memory of all the zones isn't that great. It would be helpful if in with the flavour text about a dungeon it told you what you earnt there: marks vs. shards, etc. For those who are new level 90s, or just forgetful, or don't group often, etc.

3) If I have >110% crit mit and queue up, then take gear off so crit mit drops below 110%, I'm still queued for the Kael dungeons...

Now then, we're trying to get this to work on Test but it's just not doing anything. I'm sure we have >6 people in the 80-90 range queued and at least one from each archetype. So what are the actual requirements please? How wide a level range will it take? Can an 83 be placed with 90s? What exactly are the archetype restrictions, more than just needing one of each?

We need some help here to test this please!

Edit: at time of writing we had at least the following queued:

90 fury83 berserker90 dirge90 necro84 warlock90 bruiser

Edit again, some logging of alts and we got into Vasty Deep with:

90 warden necro fury swash dirge89 sk

Test just got pulled into a dungeon so apparently it works. We could use some casters and tanks queueing on Test Copy though.

Testing Reinforce as group leader:

So you hit the Reinforce button and it says "looking for reinforcements" in chat but it doesn't seem to act as a toggle? How long does it last for? Does it turn off after each person joins or stay on until you have a group of 6?

The problem here is you don't get feedback that it's turned on, the button still looks the same in the group window and DF window. This makes me want to keep spamming the button (and I have been, I can't help it!). Alternatively you can't turn it off and stop looking for reinforcements?

Reinforce has given me 81 warden, 84 warlock, 90 necro. It seems much less picky about levels than when we tried to get a group going originally. Is that intended?

Also I was down to just a group of 2 and it let me reinforce it. This doesn't seem fair on people joining, getting thrown into what is still not a viable group. The people joining were offered the dungeon but not told anything about the group numbers/makeup they'd be joining, so they don't know there's only 2 of us sitting in the zone. Maybe you've already thought about this, I can't decide if it's a good idea to show people the group size/classes in advance or not. Perhaps consider a minimum of 3 or 4 to be able to reinforce a group? Maybe if you're down to 2 people you should be forced to just give up? I dunno.
