Has anyone gone into Runnyeye looting and pillaging lately? I am considering the zone for a guild party of 5 (lvl 32 - 40) but the loot stats look messed up: eg. a high INT Fabled hammer that can only be used by fighters and priests. I hate to send them on a mission that is going to be a lot of work and nothing to show for it. Yes, I know you can sell or crush your loot but it would be nice for them to win something they can actually use. We're an RP guild and they will be launched into the dungeon via a tavern tale, so I need to have some kind of heroic ^^^ namer sitting on some appropriate treasure to lure them into danger and glory.

Runnyeye is just a heck of a lot of fun. There are lots of shinies, which youi may either use or sell. I haven't pillaged in there since the last itemization revamp, but regadless of what falls, it's great AA, tons of names, and one of the more fun group dungeons (I'm also quite fond of Nek Castle).

Running through there lately, I never got anything useful for drops from the named but like the above person, absolutely love that dungeon, named AA and shinies! I just hate the quest to kill 100 eyeballs. Nek is my ultimate favorite, just because of the storyline behind it and secret passages and twisting halls!

Its at least worth it for the AA / XP. I'm unsure about the loot, may or may not be good. haven't really checked, but the XP is definitely worth it.

The loot's all right. I think my favorite thing from there is the Gorehorn Blade of Butchery. It used to be a two-handed greatsword, right? With the reitemization, it changed to a one-handed sword, but it still looks like a greatsword.

Thanks! Runnyeye it is, even if the loot itemization is off. They will have fun and that's what counts most.

Yeah I like Nek Castle too. Our history and lore focus group is traveling that path with a side trip at lvl 29 into Bloodlines...

Probably want to hold off until mid 30's on BLC, the final few zones there are mid 40's and higher mobs.

Well, you know, we unwittingly robbed the Blackburrow Gnolls of their most sacred text on behalf of a strange collector of artifacts we met in Evernight Graveyard while looking for clues to the location of the Everling family... but had to break our adventure short when a member of our party unwittingly put on a silver ring that had been found in the room of a person who disappeared into the night after contracting some evil disease... So we have to find a cure for our party member as well as keep Qeynos and FP from each blaming the other for the sickness raging through the cities before we can go back and finish exploring the haunted Castle.
