Are you using a wireless connection? What brand/model of router do you have? Does the behavior exist hard wired directly to your modem (bypassing any router)?

Hard wired.

I've got Frontier's service and will check to see what Modem/Router it is. Its a modem/wireless router all in one. I get 25Mps down and 19Mps up.

Had some stablity last night but over a 30 min peroid was dropped 4 times.

Won't work that way.. as I said its a DSL modem and router in one.

"Actiontec GT724WGR is a full-featured wireless ADSL router modem designed to integrate a DSL modem, router, and wireless networking in one"

Yeh.. understand. I've never been a big fan of 'All in ones' either. If sometime is wrong with either side (modem or router) your completely out of luck.

May try and redo the port forwarding tonight to see if I got the settings correct, just drives me nuts when I can't figure out something this simple...

-- it connects to server

-- no lag to start with

-- lag begins to happen over the first 1 min

-- noticable pack-loss over the next min

-- Disconnected from server -- 'Trying log-in server #2'..'Trying log-in server #3'...'Trying log-in server #4'...'Trying log-in server #5'.

Which operating system are you using and do you have the latest service pack? I do recommend opening a support ticket to attach your full dxdiag/msinfo files as well so that i can review anything that may be interfering.
