Hi guys When I try to log in to EQII it cycles through trying login server 1 and 2 and then tells me the login server is busy and that I should try again later. It's been saying this since I first tried to login at 6am. I'm using the silvery blue launcher which says 'all servers are down' when I click on update notes, but this website says they're all up and I haven't seen any thread about Splitpaw being down today so I'm pretty confused now.

Can someone clear this up for me? Thank you

We do want you to make the transition to our latest LaunchPad for Everquest II which I have linked for you below. Since you are using one of the older patch methods, I recommend the Full download version. When installing, select Install a New copy and direct it to your existing EQII game folder. This will prevent having to re-download all of the game files over again. We will troubleshoot any issues that may arise with the latest LaunchPad.

[EQII] LaunchPad

Hi thanks for your help I wanted to update in case others out there have scratched their heads over this.

I took your advice and ran the new launcher from the link you gave me. It didn't give me an option to change the path and frustratingly it attempted the 12.6gb download again. I stopped it and checked my folders and found I had no less than THREE separate installations of the same game, and therefore three launchers. I've never selected specific folders to install EQ2 into, so I can only assume that over the months, the launchers have changed default installation settings.

Anyway, I had 'Everquest II' installed in users/public... etc and also one installed in programdata/Sony.... etc

I also had one called 'Everquest II(GB) in programdata/sony etc so I put the other two in the recycle bin and ran the link you gave me again. This time I got the popup that allowed me to 'install new copy' just like you said, and I got to choose the filepath I wanted where the GB version exists. Now it has started the download at 10.8gb and is going to the 12.6gb mark... I hope this will fix the problem!

Hi, the download has finished but I'm still having the same problem.

The game loads, and I get a message saying 'trying login server #2' then 'trying login server #1' and then server 2 again, and then it tells me to try again in a few minutes.

I don't know what to do now :/

I am not using any firewalls.
