I checked the marketplace and there isn't much variety in terms of overall size: all mounts are big.

Even on my halfling, I can't find something small.

I'd love to see smaller mounts maybe even reserved to small races.

well horses on small races are small - they scale with the size you have. don't know how much smaller it should get for you. do you want to ride a rat or what?

My ratonga wants to ride a rat! That would be like a human on a caveman!

I have made this complaint since TSO bear mounts came out.... all the recent released mounts are HUGE. I only play halflings, and they only shrink mounts so much, so I look pretty silly riding these gigantic mounts. I try to use all horse or warg mounts, but TBH, I have mounts hidden most of the time, so the only ones I see are the even bigger flying, gliding and leaping mounts.

I also play halflings

Well I have the Halas newbie timeline horse and it doesn't seem much smaller than others.

Well, take the Warthog. I thought that would be so neat, and then I clicked on it in SC Marketplace, and this thing is freaking huge...

A Warthog only slightly larger than "normal" would be a great mount for Halflings.

Likewise, this could sound weird... but a dog, maybe a special race of dog that looks different enoiugh than a common one, would also make a great mount for halflings, ratongas, gnomes. EDIT: A St Bernard would be pretty cool!!

I understand that to have dogs or smaller warthogs would probably mean to restrict them to smaller races, but then you could also have one restricted to larger races to make everyone happy.

I understand also it's more work.

All I'm saying is.... as someone who don't buy much on the marketplace, I would be happy to pay SC for a smaller mount.

Think of it this way... they added the squirrel as a cute mount obviously because it sells, not just because it's a good idea.

Adding smaller mounts = moar cute = more $$$

Here's an idea:

* Add smaller mounts, such as a St Bernard , for ratongas, gnomes, halflings, fairies.

* For bigger races, the mount acts as a bonus pet and follows your PC. It gives bonuses as if equipped, but just follows you around.

* Optionally, if you're a large race, it has a backpack on its back, so it looks like its carrying your stuff.

=> Everyone is happy.
