We've received several reports on this issue and are looking in to it. It may not be a client side issue at all and we'll get to the bottom of it as soon as possible.

The problem is in the LaunchPad and LaunchPad-user CFG files. At least, they were on my end. I had a friend tell me their contents (He has the streaming client from a past install) and they differed from mine. It seems the streaming client comes with the full client's CFG files, all pointing to the full game instead of the streaming client.

What I did was back up the LaunchPad.cfg and LaunchPad-user.cfg files, then alter the originals.

(Note: I'm in the US, make sure if you use a different language that you replace the en_US language code with your current language.)

===

My current LaunchPad.cfg settings:

[Settings]

webapp=http://launchpad.patch.station.sony.com/lp3/index.html

digestURL=http://manifest.patch.station.sony.com/patch/manifest/launchpad/launchpad-all/lp3-eq2-ext.soe

skin=LaunchPad.png

appSize=664,630

appOffset=52,30

appSkin=eq2

appName=EverQuest II

appIcon=EQII.ico

curtainColor=#000000

game=eq2

===

My current LaunchPad-user.cfg settings:

[Settings]

locale=en_US

game=eqII-streaming.na

===

Hope that helps. That's what I did to fix it personally, and it connects to the 190 MB streaming server rather then the 12-something GB Full server.
