So had a few alts i did NOT login due to the mess up in AA's, unattuning etc.

Now with the latest unattune NOT popping adorns, and it being the only unattuning happening i was "lucky" enough to NOT have my gear unadorned.

What is the process for this ? CSR? or are people who did not login for that one short window just SOL?

Same thing just happened to me. Logged in my alt to find all of her adornments are still on her gear. I didn't realize that we had a set limit of time (one day???) to log our characters in for their equipment to un-adorn.

This code does not remove adorns, the first way was causing other issues so they scrapped it, those that logged in that day had it work for them, some had no issues because of using the shared bank others had gear reattuning or just auto attuning outright. The ones that got in early were fortunate, the ones that didn't still get the intended result gear unattuned, the adorns popping off were actually a byproduct of this in someway, it was explained in a post by a dev.

I had no desire to exploit the monolith in the silent city, I wanted to use it to get some shards but it was yanked from the game until it could be fixed so running the zone I was not able to get them, while those that ran before me were able to (some found an exploit to get more), after SOE removed it things changed it now was affecting everyone in game the same way so CSR's can not do anything, this is standard SOE policy. CRS's can not help you here, the amount of work that it would create if they started making case by case exceptions scanning logs, verifying implementing the request and so on would be overwhelming. You might think this crusade is going to net you something but it isn't, it you feel compelled to continue on it by all means do, just trying to save you some time as it is not going to happen.

This could be an issue if people did not have the gear and adornments they were previously wearing in overflow because they had not logged in after the GU and only received the unattune propmt.

Had SOE done it correctly the first go around, anyone who subsequently logged in, no matter if it was the next day, next week, or next month, would have had their adornments popped off. However, since SOE botched the process the only people who might have been able to get their adorments remove were those who were able to login between the first attempt and the second unattune popup. Rightly or not, those people could be "penalized" by not being afforded the oppurtunity, which would have been through absolutely no fault of their own.

As I said I was not affected by this as I was able to log in so cannot verify that it is indeed an issue.

I can confirm that if you did not log in that gear did not unattune from you nor did adornments pop out of their slots.

The whole basis of this thread is flawed, it is one of those if you snooze you lose things there are much more impacting issues that need to be dealt with instead of this foolishness about recovering some adorns.

I would like to see them have an unadorn potion or something similar to what was in EQ1 for unadorn.

For folks who completely missed the fiasco of GU61 release (work/travel), they now only have a one time shot to unattune the gear ONLY. They don't get the chance to remove the adorns. So now, all that unattuned gear is sitting there with adornments still in them.

I don't understand why you gave us a one time shot to only unattune and not pop the adorns off at the same time. It should be both.
