Shady Swashbuckler Missing?

<p>Maybe I'm just blind, but I searched the Nek docks and even Moonfield Hamlet and found no trace. Only a Shady Erudite who sells nothing. Does anyone know where he went?</p>

<p>gone for me too. the shady erudite sells mythical stuff for betrayal toons. so if you havent betrayed, he wont have anything for sale for you.</p><p>my guess is, they replaced the swashbuckler with the erudite. does this save money? time?</p><p>can soe be that cheap?</p><p>id like the swashbuckler brought kthx.</p>

<p>i noticed with my bbc as a house item a vendor would buy it for 60 gold. when i turned it into a gear item it would sell for 6 gold or something. i havent been to shady in a long long time so i dont know what the items cost to buy back from him, but that could be the exploit, if he was selling them for cheaper than they sold as house item versions.</p><p>just a guess tho.</p>

<p>He doesnt automagically come back after the update we have to manually respawn him so it might take a few to get him back. He should be showing back up on servers shortly.</p>

<p>Word is that the reason all transmuting materials bottomed out in price, on my server for example from 45p for a mana to 28 p for a mana, and from 5 plat for an infusion to 2 plat is because of people buying stuff from the shady and then muting it. </p><p>What I'd like to know is what is SOE team doing about the people that exploited?</p><p>If it is nothing, does this mean that a fair gaming strat is to find exploits as soon as possible and then use them as much as possible to generate loads of plat to win SLR auctions?</p><p>Cheers.</p>

<p>I tried to petition to have them give me the tablet for the dragon language but they won't.</p><p>If people are just muting the stuff, just make them non-mutable.</p><p>I doubt we'll see him back until after the expansion hits.</p><p>And, I WILL laugh if updates come before this is fixed that uses the swashbuckler. Oh man, if that happens, it will just be another item on the list of SOE's incompetence (not that they need anymore, it is huge as is).</p>
