Neriak city festival & new aether race

<p>This is now active on Test servers a little early.  It'll stay up till the event deactivates on live servers.  Ignore or enjoy as you wish! <p>Aether race works great, I got my title the first run and had no issues with any of the beacons.</p>

<p>That was very fun, even though my time was double what Solisice got lol.  I loved the almost straigh down dive at the waterfall. I got lost once which is good for me hehe and found no blips to report.  I appreciat the chance to die going through the ravine <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" /> </p><p>That the leaderboard reflected the top racers instead of just the top scores was nice to see. I am sure I won't be there for long but was fun getting in early and being there for a bit hehe.</p><p>I always hated seeing the top ten scores being the same guy on trick or treat day.</p>

<p>Sorry I'm behind on this! Just got a chance to run it.</p><p>1. Got the title first try, which surprised me. Usually it takes me a couple of tries first. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>2. There are a TON of those skull clouds, wow! But if you keep an eye out definitely avoidable.</p><p>3. Only part I almost got lost at was the dive down the waterfall, very nice. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>4. Around the wizard spire rings I started getting quest journal pop-up updates saying "Goal Point Reached!". There wasn't much of the race left after that point but it was kinda annoying.</p><p>5. You end up pretty darn close to the level 55 guards at the end.. this could be deadly for level 65 and under good aligned characters.</p><p>Thanks, can't wait to run it on live tomorrow! <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" /></p>
