I think I've identified a separate problem while trying to fix a first.

My client in and of itself works. However, I deleted a 2gb file yesterday trying to get some of my graphics working and I've noticed that:

1) It doesn't download unless I'm zoning.

2) It only downloads when I'm zoning to a new zone I haven't been in since deleting the file (so yesterday am).

3) If I don't zone for awhile (i.e. go afk for a few hours), then it won't download at all while I'm zoning.

I've been trying to download the aforementioned file (asset1.vdb) since yesterday morning. I've spent upwards of 5 hours just zoning from guild hall to guild hall, house to house (since that seems to be the only time I'll get any amount of download) and have finally just exhausted myself with about 250k kb left. After trying to download via zoning from guild hall to guild hall, I only get about 2-3k kb per zone.

I just talked to another player who had a similar graphics issue, deleted ALL of the asset cache files, and had them all downloading in the background while she was sitting around afk, NOT zoning.

Which to me says there's something wrong with the way mine is streaming. Any suggestions? Fixes? Please help.

Thanks

Let me test and reproduce and we'll continue with any troubleshooting steps I might have. However, if this is in fact the case, it does not appear it would be a client side issue. I'll report it up once reproduced and we'll get to the bottom of it asap.
