First some background. I was playing last night without any issues. Even lost power at my house for a few minutes and was able to log back in with no issues. Later on last night I logged off. We lost power sometime after that for 12 hours. I came back on this morning. I tried logging in to character select. Got there fine. Tried logging in a toon and it won't go past the "Entering world as..." point. After a few minutes I get a new message that says "Zone is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes." I checked the server status and didn't see any issues there. I also tried removing power from my modem and router. I let the modem sit for a minute or two then powered it up. It came online fine. Then powered up the router and it came online fine. Can surf the net without issue. Tried logging in again and same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Your characters are probably in guild halls. That is causing the issue for many, many people.

Silat

UPDATE TO THIS ISSUE:

Found another post on this thread that said that the guild halls were bugged and to try loading a toon that was not camped in a guild hall. I knew of one toon that was in nek forest and tried logging him in and had no problems. He's logged in an game is working fine so far. Looks like this a SOE problem with Guild halls.

Same here... keep getting stuck logging back in the game. All my characters are in the guild hall. I am on Antonia Bayle server.

Edit: Apparently the Devs are aware of the issue. The other general forum post on this issue is here or http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=505851 for those that don't like hyperlinks.

Same problem here on Splitpaw, been down all day long and its now starting to be beyond a joke. Come on SOE get this sorted, I've paid my account least you can do is enable me to play. You've been aware of this problem for days now and quite frankly this kind of service is not good enough!!!

I am currently having this same issue. All of my meaningful characters are in guild halls, inaccessible.

Guess I will go play in Timorous Deep with my level 6 troubador.

Same thing there, toon is in a T2 Guild Hall, on AB

EDIT: other thread is locked out, so I'll ask here... Since the issue was mentionned as being known this morning and doesn't seem to be resolved yet, should we start submiting petitions to have our toon moved out of GHs?

All but one of my characters are stuck in guild halls. This seemed to be the main problem for me last week, but a problem with getting disconnected from my router (router reset by EQ2) has resurfaced from last 2 weeks. Now I am not able to log any characters into EQ2 on Butcherblock server. Test server copy logs in fine. Maybe this is a server load issue as well or some combination of issues? Have 2 accounts in good standing both of which have this issue. Opened a ticket with support last week, advice was to run as Administrator on my Win 7 machine, clear cache, and do full scan before logging in. This solution did not help at all.
