Can not see the new SC items, please help

<p>Hi,</p><p>This is first time this ever happened to me after GU 61 tried to see the new SC mount the treeglider and it wont show up, and then i tried the rest of the new items, and it says : " You may need to re-patch in order to preview this item" so i did repatch, and whatever i could find scan , i have streaming client, and i did this about 5 times already, its still saying i have to re-patch to see the item <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Please anyone have a solution for this ?</p><p>Thank you in advance <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>If time allows, as it will be roughly a 2GB re-download, I do want to test your asset1.vdb.  This file is in your asset_cache folder under the EQII game folder.  </p><p>I recommend moving it out of that folder to another temporary location and allow the streaming LaunchPad to re-download that information.  Again, that's going to be a 2GB re-download.  </p><p>This should prompt a fresh download of that set of assets as it does appear to be a server side issue causing the problem itself.  This should work around it until we've resolved it.</p>

<p>Ditto this problem for me. With my connection, a 2Gb download will take a while, so I'm not inclined to try that. I'll just avoid purchasing the squirrel and the sacks of gold and treasure until the server side issue is addressed.</p>

<p>so i deleted the file, and it didn't patch at the patcher but then it was clearly patching while i was online in the background until it got to about 500kb then it stopped.. anyway to force the download?  i'm using windows 7 and i've been asked which launcher i'm using but as far as i know i'm using the default one i assume used for windows 7....</p>

<p>I've been having the same problem lately, ever since the rapter mounts came out, actually.  I found that downloading this version of the station launcher has fixed all of the problems with the marketplace stuff and so on. <a href="http://launcher.station.sony.com/ " target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://launcher.station.sony.com/ </a> Hopefully that works. It updated about 1gb worth of stuff the other launcher wasn't catching.</p>

<p>Ok, I am finally able to see the items, but I had to delete EVERYTHING in the asset_cache folder.  ALL of the asset files.  Doing just the one recommended above did NOT work for me.</p><p>The downside.... It meant (with the patcher that I use) I have slow loading times for a while because the game is downloading all of that data all over again.  (just the first time I go into each zone basically)  If you cannot find anything else that works and you don't mind waiting a while each time you zone for a time... do what I did.  If you cannot stand slow loading, I guess wait for sony to come out with a fix.</p>

<p>anyone know how to get the patcher to just download all this data when you log in?  I'd much prefer that to having horridly long zone times.</p><p>Also, it seems that if i don't keep changing zones while online, and if i go back to zones i've already been to previously, it doesn't really download anymore.</p><p>I'm starting to get really frustrated.  I deleted the asset1.vdb file yesterday morning and have yet to completely redownload it yet and i've been going from guild hall to guild hall just to keep my zones going so i keep downloading, but i'm down to only downloading 2-3kb/zone and i still need 300kb to finish completely downloading the file.</p>

<p>this is officially BS now...</p><p>I'm pretty sure the same graphics bug that's preventing me from seeing the new marketplace items and the housing leaderboards is also preventing me from seeing the rifts in EoW.  I think this because of the 6 in my group, the two of us that absolutely could not see the rifts (which are apparently not subtle if you can actually see them) both had this same bug.</p><p>I mean.. if it's just affecting housing leaderboards.. fine.. i can play without that.. but if it's affecting gameplay, I think Sony should be a little more proactive about making sure it gets fixed... just saying....</p>

<p>There does appear to be an ongoing issue with the streaming launchpad and we are looking in to them and will post more information as it arrives.</p>
