Since the update changed... ummm... nothing, I am just taking this opportunity to reevaluate my spec. With the nerfs to some hard modes/Drunder raids, my raid group will be hitting up that content in the near future. We're a healer-intensive group, mostly because some people really don't know how to cure. As a result, we have pretty much free reign to swap in whatever heal classes are needed in every group. As a templar, this means I have to make sure I am not redundant. How to do this in a guild such as mine? (don't tell me to betray, I'll cry).

Here's what I'm thinking: Switch the Int line for the Sta line. Especially when starting out, til we get more hard mode gear the crit chance is necessary. I am reluctant to lose my casting speed, and I use Divine Recovery all the time, so I am worried about how that will change things... casting speed is kind of necessary in heavier-hitting fights, it seems like an all around crappy trade. Also, Cure II- is this really necessary? I am just wondering, it doesn't indicate what percent it triggers at, and that is sort of relevent when deciding how useful it is.

Any other general thoughts about this update and our class are welcome :)

You should already be capped on cast speed, without AA. I would make that a priority, if you're not, and use as many adornments as you need. 7 white adorns and some easy/x2 jewelry should do it. You can factor in any buffs you will reliably have in a raid (ie: the dirge)
