I just made a ton of these for my house, but I cannot view them in dressing room, nor see them to place them, theyre invisible. Anyone have any ideas? I have repatched, takenoff my profit UI. Don't know how to force the game to do a full scan. The drop down menu one only takes 10 seconds so im pretty sure that isnt right

Thanks

Folks in my server's /crafting channel have been deleting their assetcache folder in the EQ2 directory, and then patching (and patching, and patching) in order to fix the issue.

There really needs to be a better fix for this than deleting all 14GB of the game's assets =/.

Clearly the option to check the game's assets in the streaming patcher isn't doing it's job, since it cannot tell that new assets are missing. At minimum, could we get an idea of which asset DB the offending files are in (so we can only delete a smaller file).

Interesting thing to note... I deleted everything in the assetcache folder and opened the launcher to redownload it... only it didn't see anything as missing (didn't want to preload a blessed thing).

Completely uninstalled that copy and deleting everything part of the normal game install nd it's once again not preloading at all. There is something seriously wrong with the file manifests or something where the streaming patcher as freshly installed is not getting the right list of assets. And yet whatever is getting passed to the game executable is correct, since that does seem to be downloading assets as needed in game.

Since it's relavent:

Contents of LaunchPad.ini

[Settings]webapp=http://launchpad.patch.station.sony.com/lp3/index.htmldigestURL=http://manifest.patch.station.sony.com/patch/manifest/launchpad/launchpad-all/lp3-eq2-ext.soeskin=LaunchPad.pngappSize=664,630appOffset= 52,30appSkin=eq2appName=EverQuest IIappIcon=EQII.icocurtainColor=#000000game=eq2

I have this problem - I did bug report it, but I'm delighted to hear it will be fixed. It happens to the two new paintings too, for me.
