After running an old fanshioned complete download I cannot launch EQ2. It crashes and tells me ..

Everquest II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown.

G:liveeq2gameClientsrcClientApp.cpp(4010):

Np game assets found. Please launch from the patcher.

00418a53 010375e4

--- I have tried doing a full scan. Also clearing the Run as Administrator flag and resetting it. I press Play, it brings up 2 windows (one saying processing login and the other the mini-patch window) and then it crashes ... What else can I try ?

Which server do you play on and are you using our latest LaunchPad for Everquest II? If not, I recommend the full download version and to install a new copy over your existing EQII game folder.

[EQII] LaunchPad

I play on Guk but it never gets that far. I think I am using the launchpad I have used since I started playing 6(??!!) years ago. I don't remember ever changing it.

I have tried the new installer, the new flash, reloaded the game from scratch, and nothing works. I also play on Butcherblock.

No matter what method I use, I either get the fatal error that no game disk is found ( I have a digital download ) or I hit PLAY and it just kicks to desktop.

I have tried every method posted today, and not one of them works for me.

This has been successful with everyone with the no disk found error so far.

Theres something about your, and a few others, issue that is different than what we've been dealing today and we need to dig in and find out. Include your DXDIAG/MSINFO files in the ticket.

Drastic fix but tried everything else first and at least I can log into the game now.
