<p>for some reason i have been able to patch my eq2x and eq2 server but when i dled patch..1.7gb and run the game it comes up with  login rejected: the clients version does not match the server's please re-run the patcher.</p><p>1. i dont understand why this has occured as i have dled game off internet</p><p>2. where in my files do i find the patcher to re run it for eu servers, i cannot find the option to re run the patcher ... please help as  my main game is on eu server splitpaw..</p>

<p>i am normally a EU server player, but i have some toons on US servers also. On these US servers my UI mod isnt installed yet and there i can log in.</p><p>On EU server i use Drums ui and launcher will not recognize nor implement the patch and i get the message : invalid login, ....</p>

<p>I am getting the same message on Splitpaw EU server. I've done the patch, but now I've also got the Log in rejected as it doesn't match the client.</p><p>I've no idea how to run as an administrator either.</p>

I have everquest2 and everquest2(EU) on my c drive.</p><p>Edited to add - It tells me to rerun the patcher but I see no option to do that.</p>

<p>All eu's are unable to login. Its nice to see SOE staff has an ability to see if a server is up though! Hey a thought, it would be great for us players to see if a server is up also - just a thought...</p><p>The great network page, which says the Splitpaw is up as always, has been useless since the launch of this game.</p>

so am i basicaly bn told to reinstall 12.odd gb of game so i can play my eu account... thats like 5hrs dl ... this is not fair...

Network status page is useless as always on EQ2 page, shows what it dreams of and not what the reality is (and that's just one part which is totally messed up there, sheesh, did they fire everyone who takes care of the web page and just left someone to enter the news...). Getting this "client is wrong version" message as well and then kicked out. Game has been patched and all.</p>

<p>Switching to US and then back to Euro does not fix anything .. it simply patches to US and then repatches for Euro   so save some time and skip that one <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>just done as sugested and reinstalled eu server eq2 from link on page one and still the same loggin rejected ...pffft!!!</p><p>in the beginning i did not have option to dl patch on eu so i flicked to us dled patch fine got on to char sellect  servers were locked ,  clicked escape re started game on eu dled 1.7gb took me an hr whilst tea was cooking  clicked play and got loggin rejected, have reinstalled over original game as was mentioned in page one  and still nothing still loggin rejected... this is making no sence what so ever i can  play eq2x and us but i wanna play  my eu server as this is my main server...gggrrrrr!!!!</p>

<p>For people who like to go to select char screen to see when the <strong>Splitpaw</strong> server is coming back up: Start the patcher, change region from EU to <strong>US</strong> at the top right. Once patched, close the launch pad. Edit your <strong>eq2_default.ini</strong> by replacing and/or adding similar (cl_lp_... is not in everybodies file) cl_ls_address ableq2-04-01.everquest2.com amseq2-03-01.everquest2.com cl_player_cache_dir logincache-eu cl_lp_region_suffix -eu Run <strong>EverQuest2.exe</strong> directly. Login without entering a character name to get to character select. <em>*Ofcourse this will work for any server, but before swapping to another region please check your cl_* values in your eq2_default.ini file.</em></p>

<p>Still the same error on both our machines, client and server dont match.  A buddy of ours tried the same thing on his machine in, same result.</p>
