Live to Extended -> with account xfer.

<p>Ok this sounds strange. It is complicated.</p><p>I started playing EQ2 recently. Started with the Extended version. Really enjoyed myself and thought I might enjoy the game better with the dedicated players on Live EQ2.</p><p>So I created a second account for Live and subscribed there. Worked up a nice toon.</p><p>Well I really like the low level environment and higher population feel on Extended better than Live.</p><p>If I copy my Live toon to Extended thats no problem. I keep a copy both on Live and Extended correct?</p><p>However I would like to move my Live toon over to my Extended ACCOUNT, which does not have a LIVE account associated with it in any way.</p><p><deep breath></p><p>Is it possible to xfer my Live toon to my second Extended account that has no Live subscription but is now a Gold Extended account?</p>

<p>Ummm since when, my understanding is that character transfer is not supported on Freeport and there is no support for transferring characters between accounts.</p>

<p>The path to accomplish it works around that.</p><p>This is a manual process so you do need to contact our support staff directly and we can work this out for you.</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply. I called SOE as you suggested, and they explained that it was possible. However $60 to transfer a single character to another account and Extended is equal to 4 months playtime. That is a bit excessive!</p><p>Instead of transferring I'll play till the sub is out and I'll move on to something else. Seems SOE is looking to maximize a short term profit over a long term commitment from players.</p><p>You advice and assistance was spot on, I thank you for that!</p>
