I will be rolling a BST when the time comes but my wife wants to roll a druid.

She likes both druids so she doesn't mind which she plays. So, that means I get to pick....so which druid provides the best buffs for an Agility based melee DPS character?

We will duo most of the content as we go so don't worry about groups. We will group but once we get the AA mirrors so we can spec accordingly for groups....so our concern, or mine, is getting the right druid to support me!!!

Also, she likes to do ranged DPS over melee which leads more towards fury but she likes the warden fun spells more as well as the warden epic and the wardens healing ability. Having said that, she will do ranged DPS as needed regardless of the druid she picks. I know that favors fury, or does it?

Remember, the ranged DPS piece really isn't the main question....it is the buffing!

Thanks for any input!

Nuking is still something you can do, does some damage and is fun if you are not min/maxing your dps numbers.

If buffing is what's truly important, get her to roll a Dirge. Neither druid will buff you very well. Fury won't have the buffs you need, and Warden's melee buff is very weak. If she has any aspirations for end-game content that will ensure she always has a group. Your Beastlord might not, however, since you'll be one of about 50 million on your server (grim laugh here).

Word is that the Beastlord will be a scout archetype. I tend to think the warden will be the better choice. The mercs are ahead too. The whole gameplay may change for duos.

But only time will tell.
