I was thrilled when I saw the Kunark Agent was changed to Adventure Writ Agent. Then, I was bummed to learn it was for only Kunark & DOV. (It might include SF, not sure.) Why not make this thing useful and have it do all levels? The lower levels are the ones that ppl have to go on the hunt to find the writ givers so most ppl rarely do them. I had visions of the ppl in our guild actually doing writs regularly to help level the guild, it would have been awesome. If there was an agent in the hall, then ppl would be reminded to do them on a daily basis and more would do them.

The world begins at level 1 & not level 70. Please consider making the adventure writ agent a true adventure writ agent. Thank you.

I would agree. My guild decided to bypass this Amenity due to it not really being useful at all. It would be nice to have an adventure writ giver as useful as the TS versions are.

Add SF, DoV writs are junk.

My guess is they haven't flagged it for the lower levels because the writs pre-Kunark are a mess in terms of who can get them and how many are available. Qeynos and Freeport each let players take up to 4 writs at a time, and will give them to anyone. Kelethin offers 4 writs as well, but only to those who are neutral or better with the city (goodies or exiles who've worked up their faction). Neriak and Gorowyn will only give writs to citizens - even allies can't get them. And New Halas will give writs to any good-aligned character. On top of this, all the T7 writs in Qeynos and Freeport (haven't checked the other cities) remain available to characters after they are outleveled.

Add to this that many of the cities don't have writs in the same areas until Kunark - some will send you to Faydwer, others to old-world/DoF/KoS zones, and of course lvl 10-19 writs are all in the immediate area around that city. Until and unless they standardize writ progression and availability in the lower levels, I suspect it's easier to just leave those writ-givers in the cities and let people grab the ones they want for the zones where they'll be hunting whenever they're in the appropriate town. Given I've been bugging the devs for better than 2 years about standardizing the writs, I don't really expect that to change soon.

That said, SF writs should definitely be on the Adventure writ agent, since they are issued the same way as Kunark and DoV. Same thing for TSO writs.

well that is interesting; however, i dont care why they dont do it, i want them to do it! lol.

they need to fix the writs. they are a mess right now. for gorowyn, you have to pick them up not in gorowyn but all over the adventure world after you hit level 20. they are even hard to find!! i believe the same is true for new halas. for kelethin & neriak, you have 4 different writ givers in the city. at some pt, they wont give you quests (i think... not positive bc i quit picking them up as it was a total PITA.) for qeynos & freeport, you have to go to several different zones in the respective cities to pick them up. i did not know that good/evil could do the writs. last year, when i tried to share my nice evil freeport writs with goodies, it was always refused saying wrong alignment. perhaps it has changed since then. i wouldnt know bc i no longer bother. (i dont pick them up too often bc they are way too much hassle to be worth it.)

i dont think it would be too difficult for them to add the writs to the guild writ giver (instead of, or in addition to, a gazillion all over norrath). it should be a matter of simple coding, right? i'm not a programmer so i could be wrong... i would guess its a matter of straight forward coding and adding in something to allow NPC1 to have up all the writs given by NPC2-NPC1 gazillion.

on test copy, i had a choice of picking up several writs OR "helping velious". on test as a level 30 or 40 something, i was told to come back later .

p.s. on the plus side, now our guild officer will be happy bc we can get his portal to member housing but it really stinks for what i thought was the overall good of the guild and getting it leveled at a more reasonable rate & it not remaining with only a few ppl actively working on leveling the guild.

Sharing I don't know about, but if you go into the cities you can get the writs. Found that out when I snuck my lvl 10 arasai into Qeynos for the TSO prelude quests; she walked out of the city with a writ for the Temple of Life. After that my permaexile necro was hitting both Qeynos and Freeport for writs clear through KoS.

I would love to see the writs on the writ agent. I'd also like to see all writs available to all characters, regardless of alignment, and for the writs to actually give a small amount of city faction as well (and I mean small - 50pts or so. You want faction with all the cities, grind it!) I was just saying why I thought they hadn't done it yet.
