In Greater Faydark and a few other locations on the horizon in the distance the objects are blue with no texture.

I'm thinking this must be a game bug and not a driver issue because I found the same problem on one of your screenshots on the media section. This screen shot is of the same location I'm seeing this bug so SOE sort it out come on SOE, people are paying for this.

Heres a screenshot I took of Greater Faydark

Heres a screenshot from SOE with the same bug

Sorry about the quality of this image my t-mobile dongles fault. Go to the 3rd page of your screenshots under Echoes Of Faydwer for more examples of this bug

Come on SOE this should have being fixed a long time ago and shouldn't have even being released with this bug.

Can you please fix this bug as soon as posable.

Thanks in advanced!

I'm not quite sure I'd call this a bug... What am I missing?

Greater Faydark is supposed to represent a dark ambient setting in a full forest. The distant trees shouldn't be visible in detail although I am sure a part of the reason would be based on making sure people would still be able to function in such a setting (that early in the games life). Endless drawing distance and everything in full detail would be a pretty heavy load.

I appreciate the quick response but I don't think you have given us a good answer.

Yes I would consider this to be a bug because it looks ugly. Also most other locations have textures in the horizon or what ever rendering distance you choose.

Seriously look at Timorous Deep and all the other locations, I can see the textures on the horizon.

I repeat the blue no textured objects look ugly and your contradicting yourself or making excuses because other locations as I said do have textures on the horizon or max rendering distance set with no performance hits.

I'm giving you constructive feedback on how to improve the game so can you please fix the textures. Action is what is needed not excuses.

People pay for this!

This is the performance support forum. While you may perceive this as a video issue, it is not. If you believe it is a bug, /bug it and I'll also submit your feedback. However, the intent of this forum is for the community (you, I, other players) to get together and help each other out with troubleshooting and tips.

I am going to lock up this thread and ask that you please understand the intent of these particular support forums. I've included a link to the Look and Feel forum for EQII where your suggestion would be much better placed.
