So I can get a consistent and easily calculated piece of armour. Suppose I want a piece of Incarnadine Vanguard, then it is Tier 8 Master Crafted Plate 320 Mitigation Tier 8 / Plate / Master Crafted +25 Weapon Skill Tier 8 / Vanguard / Master Crafted 4% Crit bonus Tier 8 / Vanguard / Master Crafted 2% Potency T ier 8 / Vanguard / Master Crafted 2% Crit Mit Tier 8 / Vanguard / Master Crafted No Casting Speed Vanguard No Damage Per Second Vanguard No Ordination Vanguard No Subjugation Vanguard Noxious...(N.B. Health warning – The values in this post are for illustration only! If you want to determine values that would better suit the game please do so, but do not criticise these they are NOT recommendations, they are not even vague suggestions. Their sole purpose is illustrative.)

The Schema can easily be refined for more detailed itemisation. Ordination only goes on Hand Slot Items/ Noxious on Chest. But the basic ideas are simple. 1. Consistency of benefits across tiers. If a type of armour has a benefit in tier 2 it has the same type of in tier 3-92. Consistency of Mitigation. All Plate armour from a tier has the same mitigation.3. Master Crafted is always clearly better than Hand crafted in the same tier. (And slightly better that Hand Crafted in the next tier, because this is the way it has been in the past)

Yeah, i have been /bugging this since the first pass of the crafted item revamp hit test 8 weeks ago. There is no consistency going from HC to MC within a tier. And no consistency going from tier to tier. You have stats appearing and disappearing at random as you move from tier to tier.

You will never find a mitigation of 94, 59, 63, 88, 71 or any other number. All is smoothed and ordered already. A SOE designer use Excel to create weapons stats, to avoid being imaginative.We have to figure that all the armorers in the Norrath world succeed their armor in a way that always they obtain one of this only six mitigations values available for this tier and this kind of armor.Because:All COMMON armors of a tier and a level have the same mitigation.All TREASURED armors of a tier and a level have the same mitigation.All LEGENDARY armors of a tier and a level have the same mitigation.or maybe you will tell me that there are two mitigations values available for each? Whatever, its absolutely boring!...By a great luck, SOE changes the bonus to the attributes (STR, AGI, INT...) provided by the armors.Else, EQ 2 would have had only one armor for a level, a nature (leather, chain...) and of Treasured kind, only one for Legendary, etc.There is not enough random in armor mitigation.And for weapons its the same! You will find always the same DPS for any weapon you choose of a level and of a rarity.- A short sword of course does the same damage than a spear or a long sword. Its obvious isn't it?- A spear doesn't increase your attack range nor your defense from far...- A crush weapon has no chance to stun or interrupt opponent.This way, we can take any weapon without thinking and we cannot choose a fighting style. And we are lucky enough not to have received the same weapon for everyone.So no. Keep armors with differents values. Just to have a bit of fresh air: do not make all items all the same.

I was trying to redo my charts for my (french) tradeskill website... Up until now, I had the stats of all items in my tables.Yesterday, after taking a week of holidays, I decided to redo my charts... Started with Armorer, checked chainmail... and let it drop after Indium.It wakes ABSOLUTELY no sense.If you take ebon you have: +30 STA/AGI (feet, hand, bracers, head) +33 STA/AGI (legs, spaulders, chest)Feet: +4.2 DPS +0.2 multi-attack +1.5% potencyHead: +0.7 attack speed +0.4 multi-attack +1.5% potencyBracers: +0.4 attack speed +4.2 DPS +1.5% potencyHands: +0.8 attack speed +3.7 DPS +1.5% potencyChest: +3 weapon skill +4.6 DPS +1.6% potencyLegs: +6 weapon skill +0.5 attack speed +1.6 potencySpaulders: +5 weapon skill +0.4 attack speed +2.5 potencySee? Not a single piece has the same stats as the others. How am I suppose to tell my customers easily what makes what?I had to put in my charts a letter for all pieces (like (P) for Feet and so on) to separate each stats...
