11 Crit Mit on level 78 Boots?

Lol.

Gearing up alts is gonna be a blast now, I guess...

Won't need PLs, you'll just be able to blow stuff up no matter what class you are...

I didn't think crit mit was a stat that even effected mobs Kunark or under? Was something changed or are you just talking alts TSO +?

Funny how they were consolidating stats in TSO and SF, and now a new guy comes in and adds so many stats that the items are borderline unreadable.

Even more blue...

Quabi, what item is that?

Edit: and what does Greater Violence and Ruination do?

It is probably < level 90 2 Hand Weapon.

Actually, I'm sure it is, because the Potency and CB values seem high.

In that case, having a red slot on it would serve no purpose, since you would not be able to put even a DoV yellow proc adorn in it due to item level requirements on the Adornments.

And it makes sense now seeing as how it's a priest item with melee and caster stats on it

It is odd that it only has 1 White Adornment Slot, though... ...

I heard the Taltak weapons were not given extra slots on test, too...

The thing I find amusing/depressing is that back when they consolidated Crit and Ability Mod into single stats they made such a big deal about how it would make things easier going forwards.

And now with SAA you have your

Attack Speed and your Spell Weapon Attack Speed.

AE Autoattack Chance and Spell Weapon AE Autoattack Chance.

Multi Attack Chance and Spell Weapon Multi Attack Chance.

Damage Per Second and Spell Weapon Damage Per Second.

So you end up with walls of blue stats since they need to itemise both. /sigh

I would rather have a wall of blue stats than no melee stats at all.

Then you'd have just the melee stats for both attack types. The melee stats were going to be put there anyways, to facilitate melee priest itemization. The issue is the >redundant< spell auto attack stats cluttering up the Examine Windows.

I'm with Sorvex- I'm just glad to see they seem to be finally itemizing for melee priests. Hopefully they are including melee stats for priests on dov stuff as well.

I do find it odd that an item from PR that OP linked is better than Rygorr gear (unless that was also changed)

If they are representative of what the gear will look like after Tuesday, then priest gear will have melee dps stats as well as the other stats. If the items posted above are not representative, then I withdraw my relief at seeing melee stats.

After ignoring Melee Preists for this long, I will whole heartedly settle for the wall of text over nothing. Hopefully there is something for our Melee specced friends on more than a couple pieces.

Wasn't one of the big dev complaints recently about the size of the examine window? So why exactly are we adding redundant stats to the game. Spell and Melee versions of a stat already in game have no place, use the mechanics already in game ><

If thery are adding priest autoattack damage stats to all items then fighters should have both defensive and offensive stats on every piece of their gear instead of being shafted in multiattack.

It's a new priest wand (ranged slot), and the proc is a DoT that grows with each tick.

Apparently, the new secondary/ranged items don't have red adornment slots, but, as you can see, they have a ridiculous amount of stats and a proc to make up for it.
