NEW BUTCHERBLOCK SERVERS!

<p>Since the new servers have went in I have noticed a dramatic DECREASE in performance, I am often stuck at waiting for zone server for 5-10 minutes at a time. There is simply no excuse for that. The old servers were better than that.</p><p>In fact I have written this while waiting for the zone server and guess what? It's STILL not connected!!!</p><p>Annoyed,</p><p>Avianna</p>

<p>More of a tech issue but I did notice something similar with Oasis other night.  I'm currently in the process of gathering more information but I believe it's not a server specific issue but a switch problem.</p><p><a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=422516" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=422516</a></p><p>Replace unrest with your server name.  So if Oasis, for example, it'd be pathping oasis.everquest2.com</p><p>Copy and paste the results here.</p>

<p>While I understand your frustration this issue is not made worse by the server hardware upgrades nor did it operate any differently beforehand.  What you are experiencing is an issue we need to investigate and we do have the network test linked above which can prove very helpful in determining where this issue is originating.</p>
