Pet + Buffs?

<p>Hey, I'm relativley new to the illy but I'm wondering if we have to choose between having a pet up or throwing buffs on people. Whenever I bring up a pet I run out of concentration and can't buff anyone. What adds to my confusion is sometimes when i die I'm able to throw all my buffs up as well as my pet. Not sure if this is just a bug or what but i'd really appreciate if someone could explain the concentration mechanic.</p>

<p>Unfortunately that is the way it is until you get your epic done.  Once you get that, the pet won't require concentration slots.  That said, what I used to do was when I was soloing, I'd have pet up, but when in raid/group situation then the buffs took precedence.</p><p>The part about being able to cast buffs and have pet up, I can only guess that's a glitch/bug of some sort (if you don't have epic done I mean <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</p>
