<p>It might be?</p><p>Seriously though <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  If you post up your spec people could comment.  If the machine though previously ran fine and now is having problems I'd just make sure the usual is done - defrag the hard drive, check if your graphics drivers have been updated. </p><p>And definitely check what else is loaded up in memory, my laptop just a few days ago started lagging like crazy (I was seeing 1500ms pings with the F11 monitor), the problem turned out to be my utorrent that I had installed about 2 years ago for one download and never touched since.  No idea why it started consuming all my internet bandwidth, I wasn't sharing any files yet something caused it to go haywire.</p><p>Also what settings are you running EQ2 in?  I wonder if there is a setting you had on with EQ2X that was not on for EQ2?</p>
