The long awaited server upgrades will be completed during Tuesday's downtime. In anticipation of this event, we've included a few simple steps that may help to resolve connectivity issues once the new server hardware goes live.</span></p><p style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; "><span style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The announcement states, "The Butcherblock server will be offline on Tuesday, August 16, starting at 12:00 AM PDT for an estimated downtime of 24 hours. This maintenance is being completed for server hardware upgrades."</span></p><p style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; "><span style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">For us, with the new server and hardware upgrades, players may be routed to a new IP address. This means that if you are playing EverQuest II through a firewall or router, they simply need to be reconfigured.</span></p><p style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; "><span style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Please follow this Knowledge Base article below and the various steps you can perform to correct this when it occurs.
