I am a returning player and was wondering if anyone has a guide as to which Level Traditions a Wood Elf Conjuror should take. Or is it an insignificant thing?

Hate to take something and realize I've messed up.

To be honest, Wood Elf is one of the very worst races for a Conjuror, as far as Traditions go. Wood Elves are more geared for being scouts or priests, and not mages unfortunately. However the differences are not game breaking, and at the end of the day are very, very minor boosts which can all be made up by gear.

I would take the following, in any order:

Soldiers of Tunare's Alacrity

Elvish Spirits

Woodland Regeneration

Gift of Tunare

Vitality of the Fier'Dal

Shield of Nature

Shield of Bark

If you want to race change, I recommend the following races from a racial traditions point of view: Arasai, Dark Elf, Gnome, Ratonga, Iksar, Erudite, Freeblood, Half Elf, High Elf, Human, Kerra.

Now as far as character traits, which everyone has access to regardless of race and class, you want to get +INT, +Max HP, and +Physical Mitigation.
