Two box question

<p>Hi,</p><p>I've got a ranger up to 28 that im really enjoying. I mostly two box but I'm finding it difficult to find a decent class to do so with. Right now i have a dirge basically just auto following him but it dosent feel like I'm really getting that much out of it. I also gave the paladin a try which worked ok but my pally seemed too squishy to take on anything of significance where my ranger could actually contribute some damage.</p><p>I'm still pretty low lvl so perhaps one of these combos would be better when I lvl up aways but I'm curious if anyone has found success two boxing with a ranger and what worked for them as well as how they played the combo. </p><p>Thanks in advance.</p>

I also gave the paladin a try which worked ok but my pally seemed too squishy to take on anything of significance where my ranger could actually contribute some damage.</p><p>I'm still pretty low lvl so perhaps one of these combos would be better when I lvl up aways but I'm curious if anyone has found success two boxing with a ranger and what worked for them as well as how they played the combo. </p><p>Thanks in advance.</p></blockquote><p>In general when I box I try to match toons by thier abilities and fighting/grouping types.</p><p>RangA and Dirge is a bit of a mismatch due to one being melee and one being range ... if the Dirge is an autofollow Buff-Bot then it would be ok but the dirge isn't going to be meleeing when the rangA is shooting arrows.  But atleast they both have an evac spell, just that the rangA needs to change thier pants after they evac.</p><p>Assassin/Shawy/<any melee DPS> + Dirge would be better.</p><p>Boxing Mages is always fun but staying within the arch-types would be best.. Wizard/Warlock .. Necro/Conjy ... you can mix in a Chanter with anything BUT another chanter or your DS will suffer.</p><p>Tanks/Healers are always a good boxing combo.</p>
