Can we get a merchant to trade Pure Primal Velium Shards for Primal Velium Shards.

I raid Hardmode encounters and dislike HEROIC instances. I am forced into a play style I loathe to obtain shards for my Hardmode RAID gear. Ive got tons of the raid shards laying around looking totally worthless, would be nice If I could just trade them even at a 2-1 for heroic version.

A simpler way to handle this is to allow Momo to sell yellow slot stats adornments for Pure Primal Shards and more plat. You want a yellow adornment with a proc or armor then get the shards. But stats adornments would not distort the game

Solution: Adorner Recipe (450) Convert one raid shard into two heroic shards. Convert eight heroic shards into one raid shard. That way, people doing the X2 and a bunch of instances can still adorn their red slots, and raiders can use their raid shards for yellows.

No HEROIC gear drops that has red slots. Only Raids drop red slot gear.Hard Mode raid gear ALSO has yellow slots. The raiding play-style should provide a means to adorn all the gear it drops, including yellow slots. So either include both shard types on hard mode mobs, or provide a 1:1 conversion of raid shards into regular shards.Heroic content already provides all the shards needed to adorn the gear that drops from heroic content. There is zero justification to convert up heroic into raid shards.

The craftable items from the"Aspect of War" drop in the heroic Drunder instances do indeed have a red slot.

So, as much as I hate to say it - he does have a point this time.

It's hard to say what's balanced. 1) Should bosses in the X2 drop raid shards, even though their difficulty is trivial when compared to X4? 2) Should X2 bosses (Tserrina, etc) drop them? Or red adorns? If the answer to both is no, then a conversion from heroic to raid shards is needed. 8:1 isn't unrealistic either, since that's 40 heroic shards for one adorn that drops every fight for raids. Furthermore, the great runes wouldn't be available anyway, as heroic content wouldn't unlock them. As a raider, I really don't see an issue with balance. Raiders get their shards, heroic players get theirs. A heroic player deserves to adorn the X2 gear with a good rune.

At least you can still put SF red adorns into drunder gear, which helps you absolutely zero if you didn't raid then either.

Ehhh, meh, I'd say nahhh to being able to trade, honestly. And trading heroic for raid shards is kinda silly cuz really if you have gear with red adorns, you have more than enough. I have dozens more pure primal shards than i need, lol.

Now, perhaps you shuld be able to buy yellow adorns with raid shards. Though trading them two for one or something wouldn't really be a problem, would give us somethning to do with tthe dozens of raid shards we have that sit around for nothing...but it'd also let us get ry'gorr armor super easily for alts, which might not be a desired outcome for the community. Hafta lol at ppl who think raiders don't ever group with "casuals" though. Least on our server they do all the time!

I really think a better solution would be to consider the following, though:

1. Make x2 bosses drop a heroic shard each (and final boss drop a raid shard)...why don't they, seriously?
