View Full Version : Just Remove Spell Autoattack.

<p>Its a Very bad mechanic and not worth itemizing and will cause nothing but Lag and dissapointment.</p><p>it would be easier to increase the range of melee attack from mages and give them they're own weapon animations.</p><p>Cast While Moving - Bust, it was buggy and did not really work at all, and snared you.</p><p>Spell Autoattack - Bust, will just cause lag and real mages will still use melee because it does alot more damage.</p><p>Spell Double Attack - Bust, it just cluttered up alot of items and ruined every secondary item and shield in the game.</p><p>Just Revoke these changes and focus on something else.</p><p>If Mages Want Spell Autoattack, I can implement it:</p><p>Level 1 Buff all Mages get.</p><p>Lowers Autoattack Modifier by 1.0</p><p>Increases Melee Range of Caster by 300%</p><p>Changes the Melee Animations of Caster to look like hes flinging spells.</p><p>((easy, and it won't break itemization or ruin anything!))</p>

<p>Additionally, that IS what they are doing for mages. It's just a different animation and long range melee. You should probably look into this stuff before you throw your hands up into the air.</p><p>Also, snared cast while moving works fine, I don't know what you're complaining about.</p>

I have heard two different things reqarding this.</p><p>1. the changed stats on the symbols and sheilds will change sometimes when you log on and off the test server.</p><p>2. I have also heard there is another patch coming soon thats going to change stats on even more items.</p><p>but for the most part, since the stats fluctuate. the sheilds and symbols are probably glitched (this patch did come out right after/during the fix when all the AA's were mixed with beastlord.</p>

(other wise it STARTS OUT like a nerf if your a raider and it starts out like an upgrade if your a casual).</p>

<p>Great Idea remove all the lazy attacks.</p><p>Remove ALL passive attacks.</p><p>Remove auto melee attack</p><p>Remove spell auto attack</p><p>If you attack an NPC it should be with the click of a button, not afk auto's.</p>

<p>They know it's going to cause massive lag, so they are nerfing the 0.1% of melees who have MA above 500%.... I really don't think it's going to help.. This is obviously going to be a disaster.</p><p>I agree with Talathion's subject line..</p>
