I just seen the 2 new paintings and the 10 artisan made tiles. New paintings, tiles, dividers, house ratings, signs.. so much to decorate, so little time!

So much of a waste of development time if you ask me.

Why is it that you felt the need to derail my thank you thread with that? I appreciate that certain aspects of the game aren't for you, but more people than you play this game. It's in SOE's best interest as a company to keep us all entertained.

Steppen seems to have no clue how rich this game really is - there is so much more to it than just running instances and killing Mob and all what goes with it. The Housing is also one of the parts of the game that sets EQ2 apart from most of the 'other games'. So yes, thank you SOE for working hard on this part too.

F.

This coming from someone who spent all my years in EQ1 raiding hours per day then doing the same thing in EQ2 up until a few expansions ago. This games content is good on all levels but I can only run the same instances so many times before I feel the boredom set in. If not for the huge housing system with new things continously being added to it I would no longer be here.

So before you start jumping to your own conclusions about what is a waste of resources, you might ask what non raiders think of new raid zones being added every update or non PvPers on all the time spent (or wasted) on balancing stuff around PVP. Those might very well be as much of a "waste of resources" to them as housing is for you.

Not home decorator 2.

On the rare occassions any bug is actually fixed, it takes them 2-3 months to fix it, and often they do a shoddy job at fixing it.

I think that most of the home decorators on this game would be rather angry if they weren't able to change the direction an item in the house is facing or the size of it and the devs just ignored them for over a month and when they finally got around to saying anything about it, it takes them another 2 months before it gets put into the game. I think that they would all be pretty angry about that.

do you understand my point of view? why i might be a little angry right now? Honestly i have the right to be angry about this.

There are plenty of housing issues that take months to fix. The Lozi shell reward sat at a 90degree angle on the wall since launch, and either was just recently fixed, or is soon to be patched.

Maybe you can see my point: You don't see housing people crashing your threads with their disdain for "wasted dev time", so why do you feel it's appropriate to crash theirs?

Edit: Sorry for assisting Steppen in hijacking your thread, Senya. That's the last from me here.

Do you really want the art guys who add cool fluff items to meddle in game breaking issues? Unless you're counting zone art and item art as gamebreaking bugs...

That aside, thanks for all the awesome house items this update! Well done!

Just because you do not do it doesn't mean its a waste of resources. Perfect example of self entitlement at its best.
