<p>On live:</p><p>Barrier of Swirling Spirits</p><p>54 crit chance</p><p>133 INT/STA</p><p>7.2 crit bonus/potency</p><p>3.6 ability Reuse</p><p>RED SLOT capable of holding War rune</p><p>On Test:</p><p>Barrier of Swirling Spirits</p><p>81 INT 95 STA</p><p>45 Crit Chance</p><p>21 Crit Bonus</p><p>NO RED SLOT...none at all.</p><p>Similar situation with Focused Symbol of Rime. And I've checked these Raid dropped symbols don't trigger any kind of spell autoattack so why the drastic change in stats and the loss of 2 red slots? Is it a bug?</p>

<p>I just noticed this on test as well, this has to be a mistake there is no way they are going to take 2 red adorns from us, thats is just crazy... unless they are planning on doing something else there they need to look into this.</p>

Crit bonus did go way up but as far as other stats the x4 EM dropped raid symbols are just a tiny bit better (or worse in the case of INT on the symbol of caller) than the new legendary wand which enabled Spell autoattack (which btw took me exactly 2 min to complete the quest..total). Stats on that legendary quest reward: 78 int 70 Sta 6.4 crit bonus, 6.7 potency 30.4 Crit chance.

It definitely doesn't when you compare the screenshots of healer seondary/ranged in another thread to ours. Their stats went up almost completely across the board. The buckler dropping from HM brendagor for healers is 72 crit chance now apparently, and the mage dropped symbol dropping from same darn mob went DOWN from 54 crit chance to 45!!!

The functionality on the wand for spell autoattack is irrelevant, I merely wanted to point out how similar in stats a raid dropped mage symbol now seems to be as compared to a legendary quest reward which took absolutely no time to do. Besides healer raid dropped secondary/ranged seeming to get an across the board bump to stats whereas ours were downgraded almost across the board, the healer drops also seem to have been itemized already with spell autoattack stats whereas the mage symbols have not.

<p>lets see.....I lost 20 crit, 2 pot, 92 int, 89 stam, and 2 red slots but gained 17.6 cb. and when I equip the wand I lose another 3 crit and lose 8.8 cb.</p><p>hopefully the fabled wands will have red......just wished the quest wand had a yellow slot at least.</p>
<p>NERF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, what is up with this? Some explanation would go a really, really long way.</p>
You really expect to Nerf us out of a war rune and have us not notice? Come on guys, this is too far.

<p>i've logged on the test server 3 times today, and my symbol/ranged had different stats every time. both are T2, the stats were: stats 80-96 crit chance 36-45% cb 16-21 pot 5.2-7.5 wonder what they're cooking up...</p><p>good news, its most likely a glitch wew!</p>

Bizarre patch full of itemization nerfs goes through on Friday. Might get a response on Tuesday, but probably not. SNAFU

There is no plan, my bad.</p><p>The ridiculous mess that has been itemization for the past 6+ months is not getting better, it's getting worse. Even now, on live, it's often a struggle to get crit chance high enough against increasingly avoid heavy mobs as you progress. Nerfing crit chance on these items is NOT the answer to "Why should I go get a new wand?".</p><p>Keep in mind, this affects healers heavily. Of everyone, those folks NEED their crit to keep the rest of us from falling over dead. I guess that's not important anymore.</p><p>And once again, 33% of the healer classes are STILL getting the shaft when Crit Bonus is itemized heavily.</p>

<p>I really hope this is a mistake. Taking red slots off anything is wrong. Too many red slots are already essentially taken away as most are forced to drop crit mit adorns in them anyway.</p>
