About a month ago, my F-10 button stopped working. No going to clutterless screen for screenshots, nor being able to move the boxes around to make things work better. I'm stuck with a pile of hotbars going through the middle of the screen!

My son-in-law last weekend, did a total restore, plus switched the OS from xp to Win7. We were hoping that with a clean install, this problem would resolve. It didn't.

Help??

Thank you.

I hope this makes sense - on my keyboard my F-buttons also have a secondary function associated with them. I have a Fn key on my keyboard (mine happens to be in the lower left hand corner next to the Ctrl key). Sometimes when I push that button by accident my F-keys get locked and do all kinds of wonky things. Check for somewhere on your keyboard for some type of Fn or Fn lock button. Mabye that will do the trick?

Tried all those buttons. Nothing changed. All the other F buttons work, except THAT one. F-10. I even tried plugging in another keyboard, same thing.

Make sure the key didn't somehow become unmapped. Open your in-game options, click Controls and expand Command Keys. The keymap is called Next UI Mode. Make sure F10 is still mapped to it.

I followed all the directions that you nicely game me, (THANK YOU!) and after much trial and error, I found the problem!! Out of all the keys on the keyboard, THAT key is dead! Now, I have to go get another bloody keyboard. <le sigh>
