while there are threads about the AA changes, i noticed a few threads dedicated to just one specific issue so i started this thread to discuss ONLY row one of the shadows tree. UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10 (you can keep the rest of the tree locked to level 30 or 50, if you must implement this change).

I just logged in my level 38 berserker on test. The tradeskill tree is available, the warrior tree is available & the berserker tree is available. The shadows tree is unavailable. There are no notes within the tree that indicates when it unlocks but I've read that it is level 50 bc of PvP believing that it is "overpowered". I think that even the most dedicated PvPer would agree that the first row of the shadows tree will not overpower anybody. while there are threads about the AA changes, i noticed a few threads dedicated to just one specific issue so i started this thread to discuss ONLY row one of the shadows tree. UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

Please fix this and unlock row one of the shadows tree at level 10! Keep the rest locked until level 30 or 50 if you must but pls unlock row one of the shadows tree at level 10.

This change negatively impacts tradeskill only characters who are often locked FOREVER in the 10s, 20s & 30s. not fair to punish one playstyle (tradeskill) to appease the other playstyle (PvP). a compromise can and should be made. unlock row one of the shadows tree at level 10.

Thank you!

p.s.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

UNLOCK ROW ONE OF THE SHADOWS TREE AT LEVEL 10.

yes, yes i do . im hoping that if im loud enough, it will get enough attn and they wont hurt the tradeskill only characters . (it seems that often the loud ones get the most....)

I don't really see how anything left in the first row of the shadows tree is at all that useful to crafters, but since Tigress is getting so upset about this, i don't see what the harm of adding it in is.

The +health and +power will help while crafting though, without a doubt.

The run speed buffs (both of them) and the food duration I'm going to miss for sure. I really wish they'd unlock just this first row, too.

I'm pretty sure the health and power AAs are harmful for a pure crafter.

All the crafting power and health changes are percentage based as far as I know , so in practice you want your health and power pools to be as low as possible. A lower health/power pool will mean you are gaining a greater percentage back per tick from food and drink , and so will be countering the effects of any penalties faster.

Oh true, true. I forgot it was percentage based. /bonk Nothing to see here.

I don't agree that it's necessary, nor do I agree that tradeskillers will especially benefit from the first row of TSO abilities, but I don't understand why that particular line can't be unlocked by tradeskill or adventure level. It's not like there's anything combat specific in that line, and the tradeskillers worked to level up just as the adventurers did.

*edited for clarity
